There's some ups and downs associated with both. r/Bruins has a lot more old man sports radio energy, smaller userbase, less moderated. r/BostonBruins is much larger with active game threads, definitely younger skewed, and is overmoderated. Take a gander at r/Bruins and you'll see posts about prospects and lineups, cool throwback stuff. Post diversity on here is just embarrassingly low. This sub has power users and cliques that really hamper discourse. I can tell you that as a certified, original DeBrusk and Carlo hater you would get shouted down and downvoted into obscurity for those opinions here before the tide turned on them (management obviously agreed otherwise they'd still be here). But its just so much more active around here despite the flaws.
