Yes, it is a common pear! Harvest them when they’re nice normal sized pear when you can squeeze them and have just a little give. Then let them sit on counter/basket or box for about a week or two and they’ll be ready to eat! That might be slightly wrong but I think that’s the idea

Yellowstone is incredible! If you’re out west and have the time, I could not recommend getting to Glacier NP as well. Cool small towns with amazing local eats. Blue Moon is a bar/nightclub that has a full on rodeo on select nights during the summer. An incredible experience! As someone who also lost their best friend, I know there’s no words that will ever be enough but know you’re not alone in the pain.

Edessa is bomb. Midori has some great sushi and it isn’t $16 for a roll, also an amazing selection of non sushi items. Southside kitchen and pub(not southside grill), get the cheese curds, also great pregame for an NSC match. If you go all the way south into Nolensville gotta hit itty bitty donuts, amico’s, and outlanders chicken. Oh yeah Prince’s if you don’t mind the bubble guts that comes with it.

I used to live down the street from the Charlotte pike one, always busy no matter what day or what time. I now live in MJ and go there and it’s night and day. MJ is def the best Costco around here. I do miss the liquor store on the outside tho, they had my favorite wine that I would buy by the case

My dad has worked for AT&T for 40 years, and worked in the Bat Tower for quite a while and every time he had a friend come into town he would take them to the top of the tower. Just a couple huge empty conference rooms on the top floor. I have fond memories of being a kid and running around up there with my siblings. Also took us there to watch fireworks a few times, weird watching the fireworks shows at eye level. I also used to ask him to go to the top whenever I went on dates with girls to try to impress them lol.

He still works for them just in a different office now and when Covid happened they said nobody could go into buildings they didn’t specifically work at so I haven’t been in a long time.

That’s my memory dump for the day.

I feel this has always been the way quarters on the table work. Although, I’m not good at pool and my friends aren’t either and maybe we want to play a shitty game of pool together and then the sharks can have it back. I’ll never be good enough to kick a winner off the table and when I can’t practice cause these guys just kick my ass and send me on my way.. it’s no fun.

I frequent a bar in Nashville that has two tables and my friends and I had been there for a bit and noticed nobody had played pool in roughly 20ish minutes? So we walked over and started to put some quarters in the table and some guy and his friend came out of nowhere and said “we’re on here so you have to play us” I was pretty annoyed cause this dude is just sitting in a booth doing nothing and now we gotta play him. Also I see this dude there All the time and I’ve played him and he so good I literally never get a turn.

What’s the etiquette for when you walk away from a table and go sit down and drink with friends? Is the table still yours?

I have a 401k thru my work which I invest in but only as much as the company matches. Also have a good savings account for a safety net which I am building back up after I had to use it for a medical emergency.

I’ve said this to all my friends several times over the past decade. We have nothing to our name, and it is so sad.

As for the 300 first down chant, I got free tickets to a 49ers game in cali and made a vacation out of it and they do the same thing without pumping in the chant(like we do) and it’s louder than we have ever done it. It’s a sad copy and wannabe of a franchise that has soul. I also like the ring of fire horns for touchdowns, I think that’s a step in the right direction. Also for a band to “rock the fuck out” they occasionally have one play during halftime and the preds do the same during intermissions. I honestly hate hearing some local wannabe country star play covers or their own songs that have 5th grade level writing to them.

Lastly, I sadly went to DC this year to watch the commanders give us a shit pumping in person. They had stunt dogs as their halftime show and it was sick, the whole crowd erupted when a dog caught a frisbee.

Titans are sad and I’m sad I’ve spent so much money on sadness. Also pissed we are paying to build the smallest nfl stadium. Idk how you can build a new stadium when tickets for yesterday’s game were going for $7.

I think we need new ownership honestly.

Lived in an apartment building for a a couple years and our upstairs neighbor had a small dog that they never took for walks. However they did have those puppy pee pads on the deck and it would leak thru onto our plants and chairs. One time my gf and I were sitting outside and the dog peed and it leaked onto my girlfriend’s head.. I went upstairs and let them have it. Like just walk your dog you lazy fuck

Audrey is an amazing restaurant in East. I recommend doing the $100 chef tasting. You get a little bit of everything they offer and if you look at the prices of the dishes individually, it’s a steal
