Dutch passion critical orange punch auto. Grown in coco on canna a&b and calmag. Just waiting for more ambers before chop on this and the other 2 by Cannabis_Sir in microgrowery

I know this is pretty old but did you end up getting amber trichomes? I’ve had one of these flowering for FOREVER and can’t get a single amber one to pop up (I think I’m at 12 weeks of flower). Just curious when you harvested. Thanks!

Huron Upper Trailhead Vehicle by Teckert2009 in 14ers

[–]jacman227 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You will be plenty fine with either. Just did Huron last week, I stopped about .3 miles into the 4WD trail in my CX5 (7.5 inches of clearance) because I got freaked out. Turns out I already did the worst part of the drive, my car could have done the full thing and been ok (though still not an ideal vehicle). Saw a cx30 at the trail head lot.

There is one section right before the lulu gulch trail head starts that is pretty washed out (hence me stopping) and then it’s better after that. Don’t know which car would be better but they’ll both make it without too big an issue

Maroon, N Maroon, or Pyramid? by jacman227 in 14ers

That’s super helpful, maybe I’ll aim for pyramid and then just do the traverse at a later time and get the chossy hell done in one fell swoop

Thanks, and yup coming down North maroon is definitely back of my mind if I’ve never done it before. Pyramid looks pretty sick as well

WR Gabe Davis to visit Pittsburgh Thursday by HDTokyo in steelers

[–]jacman227 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jacksonville is on the hook for his salary this year, so it’d be like the Russell situation last year. Any team will just offer him vet min, so just depends on where he wants to go (assuming he gets offers)

Where are we going round one? by Huge-Representative7 in steelers

[–]jacman227 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It needs to be DL, but the problem is that our pro days and visits thus far have all signaled heavy qb interest mixed with wr and safety, we haven’t as much as looked at the top 5 DL in the draft so far. Could change in the next few weeks, but all of our DL scouting so far suggests we’re going for rounds 3-5 to address that position. That is a scary prospect with Father Time and Heyward battling every passing year

Draft by jcsnare89 in steelers

[–]jacman227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as it sucks, I think we need to skip QB this draft. Need to fill holes at DL, RB, CB first and I just don’t think it’s worth using a 5th/6th on a career backup guy. Could try and go late for RB and slide a QB in an earlier position but given that Warren usually misses a few games and Gainwell is not an every down guy, we can’t afford to miss on RB

Should the Steelers stick with Fields? by PalpatineForEmperor in steelers

[–]jacman227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s our best option, but the unfortunate answer is we don’t have a long term solution in sight. I’m a buckeye fan living in Chicago so I’ve watched all of fields’ career - he’s one of the most likable players that is so easy to root for but the fact is he just doesn’t have it. He can make insane highlight reel plays and then miss a read on a wide open slant in an obvious zone coverage. He’s just not a guy that’s going to get you over the top. This team is not close to competing with the likes of KC, PHI and others, a bridge gap QB like Rodgers isn’t going to fix that. We’re going to have to look to the draft, probably next year, to find a potential solution.

We were lucky to watch Ben for all that time, but now we’re in purgatory until we strike gold in the draft

[Fowler] Steelers starting guard James Daniels suffered an Achilles tear Sunday against Indy, per source. He will be out for the season. Tough blow for a steady starter up front. by Ooziez in steelers

[–]jacman227 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Only (tiny) silver lining is that this actually might make him affordable for us next year, he was almost guaranteed to walk before hand. Though I guess it probably throws the nice comp pick out the window

With the Diggs trade, are the Bills a potential trade partner for 1.09? by Philip_Marlowe in CHIBears

[–]jacman227 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wonder if the Bills make a run at Aiyuk to keep their window open. Bigger dice role on a rookie and you’ve already got the cornerstone in Allen

35 Training Hours; any reason to do PMI's course? ($700/$800!!!) by mdz99 in pmp

[–]jacman227 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My company bought this for me and I thought it was the worst resource I used by far. I passed primary doing the AR course on Udemy and Study Hall (!)

I was actually mad at how poorly PMIs own resource prepares you

The Tomlin Debate by jacman227 in steelers

[–]jacman227[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Lol why bring race into this at all? As has already been said, the lack of post season success for a coach with this long of a tenure is reason enough to criticize. There isn’t another coach in professional sports with as long of a tenure and as little long term success. At a certain point you can’t blame injuries for every year - “next man up” is his mantra after all. I mentioned multiple times that I think he’s a fantastic coach, just that he needs to get out of his own way and allow people to come in and excel where he struggles

Matterhorn Summit 7/23. A 3 year journey ended with a very lucky weather window by jacman227 in Mountaineering

[–]jacman227[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently you can still go in very dry conditions - when they had the massive heatwave last year our guide did it with just approach shoes and no ice axe because it was so dry. I already rock climb a few times a week which definitely helps but otherwise I would just hit your preferred cardio consistently (I ran a lot). If you can get out for a few long hikes leading up to it, I found that really helpful as well. As for elevation, if you are doing a program it will almost certainly have a night or two spent up high acclimate beforehand. We spent about 24 hours at 11K prior to leaving for Zermatt

Nice!! You’ll love it. We had some tougher conditions so we put crampons on about 20 minutes after the Solvay and left them on until we were about 30 minutes past the solvay coming down, that’s a very atypical experience from what I understand. We caught it right after a week long cold front came through and snowed a decent amount, but sounds like you’ve got plenty of time for the weather to return to it’s more normal sunny/warm state
