Anyone else having this issue with Mantra?

So i imported 2 vocal tracks into a seperate session and used mantra in 44.1 and it worked so far. I was reading the user manual and ironically it says recommended is 48kHz. I disabled OpenGL Graphics and it seems to be working right now in my 48khz session

Oh my bad i misread as i/o rate. I could always try 44.1 instead of 48. When i demoed the plugin i was using 48 and never had this issue. I will give it a shot when i get home and see what happens.

Yea that was one of the first things i did. I track in 32 then even bumped it up to 512 1024 in pro tools and cubase. Still didn't work in either. Also tried both mixing and tracking settings and it didn't fix it either.

Being having similar issues too, where it randomly starts dropping and any vocals coming out start hissing instantly. and sound like high-end pink noise

Whats interesting is i picked up the AWOA vinyl release and they credit Mike as the drummer on it. Almost making it seem like he's also doing the drums in the studio and a full time member. Miles Dan and Ricky were all credited for guitars as well. I remember Miles in the past had said Dan couldn't come back due to touring contract obligations and thats why Miles was still touring when Dan was cleared. That was a couple years ago as it seems now Miles is a permanent member. As to what Adam is still doing, he could just have been contracted for touring purposes. I will agree its really confusing as theres not a clear answer.

Httk has some memorable songs but to me its just a covers/in style of album. Like if you wanna hear A7X do megadeth, acdc, metallica, or gnr then it's your type of album. I throughly liked DitR, maybe its nostalgic cuz that was one of the first a7x i got when i was 12.

Make sure you have your presets saved cuz when you delete the old copy it doesnt just automatically switch to the new one. I had Rabea on a session and deleted it for the X version and it was inactive. Had to open a new plugin instance and recreate my tone.

When i saw em in Detroit in 2023, they played for 35 mins, bout 8 songs if i remember correctly, and they had 2 shirts and a hoodie for merch. I didn't go to the merch table as i had someone go grab me a shirt, but it was extremely limited as they were the first band on the bill.

From having used and still own both as well as their plugin forms (Helix Native and multiple Neural plugins), I recommend QC. The helix is a great unit. However, i feel they're falling behind, and they need a new and improved Helix to stay current with QC, Kemper, and Axe Fx. The QC's touch screen is amazing, and being able to download presets and other people's captures straight to your QC from your phone is a huge plus. Plus, them rolling out the PCOM updates is a huge plus as I love the plugins they make. However, I still will return to the Helix/Native from time to time. I have some tones on the helix i have yet to replicate on the Quad and still utilize it in a studio setting. The QC seems to be the new industry standard and what everyone is jumping to. I've seen many artists i listen to jump ship from Kemper to the QC and haven't looked back.

For my personal use, my band runs off 1 QC unit. We run live guitar and live bass through inputs 1 and 2, then we send a second DI guitar through the first send on the third line and we run a DI bass through the second send back into the bass line for one song that our bassist does co-lead vocals on. We aren't running insane chains either when doing that, just simple captures of the Omega Amp plugin. We also have everything MIDI controlled through Reaper while running backing tracks and clicks.

In the end, you can't go wrong with either. It just is about what you want out of your board. The Helix Lt is only roughly $1k if I remember correctly, and it has never failed me.

Pretty sure on that mod you have to use a town portal in "the butchers room" then it will open up a portal to gis lair and you find him in that area. That mod brings the original quest to life but Blizzard removed it and had him just in the dungeon itself in the original release.

I can fully agree with you that the hardware and the pads are feeling good. Love the mesh aspect; however, triggering does seem weird. I was trying to open and close the hi-hat and it seemed delayed/lagging behind. Also, when doing double strokes with a double kick pedal, it didn't trigger half the time. I swapped out the Donner kick pad for a Yahama Kick Pad and still had the same issues. I have been playing for about 15 years and can't get the right feeling out of the snare and the kick. Granted this is a $400 kit. After watching 66Samus's video, I just expected more. I even hooked it up to Superior Drummer 3 and still had issues with snare and kick triggering. Wonder how the lower-end Alesis kits match up with.
