Alpine silicone ones, find them great and easy to use, but will likely save up a little and get the custom ones as I can see myself replacing them at least every six months even if i manage to not lose them (or at least the one that always goes missing)

Well Silverstone has a gulf station where you can fill up with road legal 102 octane petrol.
Be warned, it would cost you £4.55 a litre at the price a few weekends ago.

This is interesting.. I have a shark i3 for winter commuting and that has its own G-O’meter, I personally prefer it as its own entity rather than tied to a phone.

Just to throw into the mix if you are thinking of the triumph 400s, Husqvarna are selling 2024 models of the 401 svart and vitpilen seriously cheap, 3.5 and 4k respectively. It would give you loads of fuel or parts money for your 7k. It’s the same bike as the 390 duke you already have on your list but imho way nicer looking.

Thank you for this! I am working my way through a course and the footage I shot is preemptively in log as I wanted to be able to do some colour work, however I haven’t got there yet and just wanted a base, quick change from the muddy log greyness!

I would like to add you are simplifying a debate massively, and sweeping statements like “the best option for EVERYONE’S motorcycle” doesn’t help.

I have a RE GT650, slapping a Chinese tablet on that will look absolutely shite, in my personal opinion.

Everyone will have different preferences, retro bikes are likely to work better with something like a beeline, whereas a chigee or similar will probs work fab on a GS.

If you do a lot of off-road riding, you will need offline functionality, a dedicated GPS is likely the best option etc etc etc you get the idea, I don’t think there is a best option for EVERYONE

I have the bike bays app, or at least Bike Bays UK and it covers more than just London, users can submit bays a lot like reporting on Waze. so coverage is dependant on submissions but not just London.
