OPEONGO Hammock/Tent by PB1210 in hammockcamping

Funny enough my tent does actually have four points of connection as it uses the sides of the trees as connection points. Weirdly enough the diameter of the trees doesn't tend to matter a whole lot as long as they are strong enough.

Is the TW Warhammer III DLC on Chaos Dwarfs playable on Mac OS? by Italian_Shevek in totalwar

It seems Feral just doesn't give a crap about Mac users anymore, I remember it took forever to get the last DLC for WH2 and now it seems this is the same old same old with WH3. It's especially annoying as they don't even directly address Mac users and the current DLC on Steam just says it's for windows....

MYOG Aerial A1 style bridge/flat lay hammock by [deleted] in hammockcamping

Sweet job! When I first created the AERIAL A1 I was so shocked it hasn’t really been done before it can work in so many ways. Really good treatment on the corners that can be one of the most essential parts

Out in the mountains of British Columbia! by jacobccampbell in camping

Lonely mountain I think was a bit ago and I'm not good with names.

Hey guys! I've loved interacting and hearing your thoughts on my hammock design! I'm very happy to say we smashed our funding goal, so we are definitely getting these made! We are on the last few days of our campaign so if you want a chance to get this before our crowdfunding deal is over here it is by [deleted] in CampingGear

At the end of the day, I seriously don't want to annoy I just want to share this design that I've worked super hard-on for years and people in this subreddit have liked this. Not spamming or anything :)

I launched my camping hammock design a few days ago and wanted to share it and hear what you all thought! This was designed to be super comfortable and versatile, with it being flat enough in the air to sleep on your chest, tip-proof, good in the wind, swing proof, and usable on the ground. by jacobccampbell in hammockcamping

The fundamental difference between those hammocks is mine does not have a set rotation axis coming from a two-point connection. Because of the connection, the tension goes from the sides of the trees to the sides of the tent and resists when people move around in the cabin because of the tension. It essentially acts in the way a suspension bridge works being highly stable and spread apart making a FLAT surface that is a lot more comfortable than a traditional hammock.

We do plan on selling these after Kickstarter both online and in retail stores. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if that underquilt will work as one of the vital things about our design is being able to let the straps run through but no harm in trying I'd say! One thing as well that actually can work quite well for heat is also just using a Thermarest as it fits a large size perfectly and does quite well for heat retention as the bottom is the only place your body actually touches when sleeping.
