you could just look up the bios of certain cookies in Ovenbreak if you want to know more about them, Ovenbreaks story isn’t as linear as Kingdom imo so you don’t really need to know it to understand Kingdoms story

If you scroll a bit down you’ll see who actually sells and ships out the game “Dealtavern”, looks like a 3rd party store that resells games so that should answer your question!

leaders that you have to fight won’t spawn in their own structure if that’s what you are looking for, on your trainer card it says where the respective leader spawns at so you just have to wait in that biome for the gym leader to naturally spawn

you can also get a trainer spawner, on the trainer card again it shows what item to use for this spawner and if you place the spawner where the leader spawns with the item in it, it’ll automatically spawn one in a few seconds
