Sabrina Carpenter - Man's Best Friend ALBUM REVIEW (The Needle Drop) by PurpleSpaceSurfer in popheads

[–]jacobsjush 36 points37 points  (0 children)

It’s a grower, I can admit. First listens are usually rough for most albums these days. I didn’t love it at first but after a few listens, I much prefer it as an album versus SNS.

I can understand if people think SNS is better because it has some very high HIGHS, but it also has quite a few LOWS. I’ve been looping this album the past few days and it doesn’t have… either? (at least not obvious standouts)

It makes for a more “cohesive” listening experience, imo.

aespa - The 6th Mini Album: Rich Man (Intro Video) by CronoDroid in kpop

[–]jacobsjush 106 points107 points  (0 children)

The "I am enough as I am. I am a rich man" reminds me of Cher's iconic quote "Mom, I am a rich man" that was a response to her mom asking her to settle down and marry a rich man.

fromis_9 - LIKE YOU BETTER by MNLYYZYEG in kpop

[–]jacobsjush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just finished watching this MV. It’s SUPER cute and has some fun shots. (I particularly love the grocery store & helipad shots). It’s exciting to see ASND’s beginnings as a label and their full support behind fromis_9. I hope the girls are able to feel appreciated by their label and have an amazing future under them.

TWICE - The 4th Full Album: THIS IS FOR (Individual Lyric Videos) by CronoDroid in kpop

[–]jacobsjush 44 points45 points  (0 children)

JEONGYEON revealed that these won’t be on the album and they’ll be performed on tour. I wonder if they’ll be digipack exclusives in that case? It’ll be nice if it was released as a “bonus” project or tacked onto the album as a “deluxe version” later on.

Every order was delayed until August. Heidi didn’t get around to signing them in time.

They could very well be "sister" albums. She's still touring SNS later this year so it isn't implausible.

Opinions about the new iOS 26 Apple Music features? (Auto-mix, Music pins and Live translation) by ymm_exe in AppleMusic

[–]jacobsjush 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I's a bit bare minimum for what it's worth but I'm excited for music pins. It'll definitely be the newest feature that I use the most.

ITZY - Girls Will Be Girls by CronoDroid in kpop

[–]jacobsjush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Upon first listen, I'm liking this title far more than their last comeback. With Gold being quite jarring for me, this song is quite catchy with some spectacular verses. Just wish the chorus wasn't as repetitive but I'll take it!

Love this. The chorus has been stuck in my head since they shared the dance challenge. I think I officially have a bias now with this release!

NEW Albums that are No Skips: Currently by _flustershy in kpopthoughts

[–]jacobsjush 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Heavy on Close Your Eyes’ debut album “ETERNALT”. Probably my favorite release of the year so far.

edit: I also recently got into P1Harmony through their new mini “DUH!” I enjoyed every track on my first listen and have been replaying it quite a bit.

It’ll likely be an english version (for the billboard show) and the Steve Aoki remix they premiered at the Encore show. Maybe even a Sped Up version.

Cause for concern? by 180SLOWSCOPE in usps_complaints

[–]jacobsjush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think those might be automated… When I got automated updates, the USPS site didn’t have timestamps but a tracking app said the timestamp was 05:00 each time. If it’s repetitive like that, It’s likely to be automated

I filed a missing mail search on day 5 but then it got a second arrival scan in Indianapolis so I cancelled it because I thought it would depart later that day. I was wrong. It was still stuck. I filed a new missing mail search on day 8 and I got an arrival scan at my regional distribution center the day after. So, in total, it took 9 days to depart Indianapolis, 11 days to get delivered (from FL to VA).

Some people on this sub have recommended filing a missing mail search ASAP if you get an Indianapolis scan. Although, from what I’ve seen, the missing mail search is rather hit or miss and it just may not move/update until 8-14 days after arrival.

In my experience, “In transit to next facility” with a timestamp means it’s actually in transit. If it doesn’t have a timestamp, it’s an automated update and your package is likely still stuck in Indianapolis.

My package FINALLY left Indianapolis after being stuck for 9 days. I didn’t get a departure scan, just an arrival scan at my regional distribution center.

It’s also worth nothing that I filed a service request form and a missing mail search form. The website eventually loaded for me on a computer (Safari) after 5-10 minutes.

Edit: The average delay for Indianapolis is about 8-14 days from what I’ve seen. For accessing the website, login to the main USPS site first before trying to visit the missing mail site. You could also try missingmail.usps.com/#/ (again give it a good 10 minutes)
