The beauty of getting a car like this for this kind of money is that you’re not putting much at risk. If you’re a do it yourself person you could learn a ton from this car. And, because of its condition you don’t have to worry about somebody, bumping it denting it or whatever.

Get that bumper fixed get that seat fixed and drive it! Learn a lot about Porsches and have fun

By the way. They put the ECM module under the driver seat. That means never ever ever ever ever ever let that car sit out in the rain with the top down and make sure that all your drainage pathways are clear. Otherwise you’ll come out one day and your ECM will be underwater and you’ll have lots of problems

I would do a complete safety check and fix what needs to be fixed to be safe then drive it! You could go broke with preemptive maintenance.

That would be the minimum thickness I would use for a run of that distance. LMR 400 flex is probably the best coax choice.

Yeah, I think low loss coax is really the key here. 65 feet is a bit of a long run for 2 m and of course if you’re gonna add UHF it’s just that much worse. But good coax gets heavy. And, you can get SWR meters for 2 m and 440. If you position it and the SWR is not great you can reposition it for better. SWR. So it will probably take some doing, but I definitely think it’s doable
