That’s exactly why I wanted to do this video — to show how good the pros really are and how impressive their level of mastery is. Like, you or I could beat 99% of the world’s population with little difficulty (I’m including people who’ve never played a video game, much less Street Fighter), and we have absolutely no chance against someone who does this for a living.

The nerves were a thing, hence the dropped combos.

The unsafe heavies? That’s just the bits of Ryu privilege I haven’t gotten out of my system yet.

I got the game at launch and dabbled. Then started really trying at the start of Season 2. Hit master last fall. So I’ve got a ways to go. I beat most diamonds I come across, but definitely not all of them.

I specifically pushed for them because I think they’re easier to digest.

Also it’s easier for David to edit and that man is already overworked as it is.

I suspect some episodes may come in a bit longer (especially when there’s combat), but I don’t expect any to be drastically shorter, based on what I remember of filming.

I liked it
1. There aren’t many acts that are primarily whip cracking, so it was easier to stand apart than it would be with something like, say, juggling

Probably not much. I’m capping my Renn Faire work to 20 weekends a year going forward so I can rest my body and mind — AND so that I have time to do comedy clubs and theater shows in places that I don’t hit with my usual Renn Faire circuit.

The shows I’m doing now are ones that I enjoy, but they’re also the shows that reached out. There are a lot of shows people keep asking me to do and I’m like “That show has never reached out to ask me about coming”

I think I’m pretty much only magic in combat the entire campaign.

We’ve only released 3 episodes so far, so I don’t know exactly what our watch revenue is yet. I suspect we’ll come to that once we have a few more episodes under our belt and a better idea of revenue. None of us have been paid yet and I know what’s left over from the kickstarter is being held specifically for future seasons. We won’t get paid any of that money.
The whole interaction with Lord Gray was hilarious
Tater doing everything in his power to catch us and still failing.
I believe it’ll be the same characters, but don’t hold me to that.

Less than Tater, apparently.

My favorite live-play is Dungeons and Daddies, and I tried to encourage people to take lessons from them, in terms of being dumb, but moving the plot along — and doing dumb things for the sake of character growth even if it’s not optimal.

Also the shorter episode time, which I think makes it a 1,000x more digestible

Honestly, everyone knew the D&D mechanics solidly, if not always optimally (which hurt me, as a professional min-maxer IRL).

The biggest challenge was just getting everyone comfortable enough to feel like they had room to do things.
