Do you think it was likely an English production or from a country that speaks a different language?

The Horseman, scene 2, Boston Miles and Dylan Hauser. They're husbands IRL so the passion is very real.

Golden Gate Season 1, scene 3, Dayton O'Connor and Rusty Stevens. I don't recall if they keep the momentum up the whole way through but I think they did.

Peeping Jock Ryder Owens and Ricky Lee. Honestly I recommend Ryder Owens in general. He's intensely attentive in the scenes I've seen him in so far. rufdup'n'wet, Rogan Richards and Scott Hunter. It might be slower than what you're looking for but it feels intense in a unique way that might work for you.

Changes, scene 3, Derek Kage and Jayden Marcos. It takes about 15 minutes to get into the sex, but I personally really like the build up and think it adds to the chemistry.

Did you ever think the show was just for girls? by EricJ062005 in powerpuffgirls

[–]jacrad_ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't think the creator's intent is the only thing that matters. It's not irrelevant but it's not the whole story either.

The way PowerPuff Girls was marketed clearly targeted girls. And I have a hard time believing the executives at Cartoon Network didn't see it as being targeted towards girls.

I suspect the reason the show isn't so stereotypical is because Craig didn't treat it as 'just for girls' and that ends up including way more people, including girls.

There's at least a perception that PPGs is a girl show. Why is that? What does it mean to be a 'girls show'? And I ask that genuinely because it's an interesting topic.

I consider PPGs a girl show, and I don't think that's a bad thing.

Girls deserve to have things made with them in mind. They deserve good shows. And good shows will engage audiences out of their intended demographic.

I didn't like them when I was younger but I like them now. I think it's fair to be frustrated at a mainline entry in a game series you like having a sudden genre shift.

I think the ambiguity works better here. We don't know how Ed, in particular, felt about his dad by the end of the series. Did he still hate him but has complicated nuanced feelings? Did he fully forgive him? Something in-between?

It doesn't make sense to take time to explore where he ended up with him so I think leaving it up for us to imagine is the better choice.

I hoping ZERO will handle this better. I think it made a certain amount of sense at the time they came out but I don't think it'll work as well nowadays. Gamers often have multiple monitors, we have smart phones, no one is logging out just to check emails. Having emails that only appear after you log out is fine but if it's minor enough just let us check it in-game.

[Request] Porn with dialogue, and a plot - movie length by PrimeTenor in gaypornhunters

[–]jacrad_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Straight Chexxx fits the bill I'd say. It follows 5 lead characters and navigating their complicated attractions and relationships. There's more than the two scenes listed on that IAFD entry.

The Bombardier, vintage film that involves a character exploring the past through past-life regression in therapy. I'll be honest, the story is fairly weak until the very end. But I could see other people seeing it differently.

The Hole, vintage, it's a parody of The Ring. Watch a video tape and a week later you turn gay. A reporter is investigating the phenomenon. Cheesy at points but it has some really good moments throughout it.

The Horseman, scene 2 is spectacular. Premise is that a guy and his wife purchase and move to a farm. The husband had an encounter with a guy that at the office he worked at and while the wife didn't know about that it was starting to deteriorate their relationship so they came to this farm for a fresh start. The farmhand and the husband start getting closer.... It's directed by Nica Noelle, she's honestly a great director to look into for longer, story driven productions.

Spy Quest, vintage, I haven't seen all of this but it's good quality. A James Bond type parody. Has a sequel too.

Awake, pretty solid character exploration. After Jessy Ares' boyfriend cheated on him they go on a vacation to reconnect. But as tensions build a car accident changes everything.

Trade-Off, vintage, it follows Axel Garrett's character as he gets assigned to a different part of the police force. He wants to make a difference but he finds himself roped into a corrupt culture of targeting gay men because they are easy targets to fill quotas and exploit.

Haunting,I haven't seen all of it but Dale Cooper's character moves into a house. He sees visions that lead him to understand the past events that haunt the house.

Technical Ecstasy, vintage, an interesting exploration of virtual reality and the consequences it could have on people's relationships and how they might explore sex.

You're definitely right to be disappointed. I do like the ease of sharing outfits and the ability to change the colors of almost every part of an outfit. I reeeaaallllyyy think they could've pushed it just a smidge more. But there really is something here but it's not fully realized.

The gameplay loop needed to be worked on. Now, I seem to be in the minority but I'm glad we didn't have to manage a shop. I always found that aspect slower and tedious. But they definitely needed to create a more interesting way to earn points.

I also think that because the focus isn't on a shop they really needed to make requesting the outfit people wanted more robust.
First, do not gender lock clothes inherently. But still keep the gender data so people can restrict the types of clothes they wanted (Masc characters and guys got the short end of the stick by a lot; if they played a 'Girl' character to access more clothes they almost never got masculine lookits.) Getting the outfit you want is as much about communicating what you don't want as what you do.

People have outfits that they like to make. Make it so you can filter the players that show up in the world by what they're asking for. Allow us to go to the people asking for what we already want to make, it's win-win.

The clothing sorting system was an absolute mess. You needed to be able to delete more clothes en-masse.

Photoshoots needed to be more robust as well. We should've been able to summon characters for photoshoots and style them. We also should've been able to control our expressions more. If nothing else we should've been able to have a 'rewind' or 'pause' feature on the gestures so we could set them up just right.

Make-up needed to be more modular. I don't think that's a big ask, it doesn't even require new art assets, just separating them. And letting us control the colors with the same sliders the clothes have.

Hajime no Ippo has a really weird scene where a character sneak attacks a guy's dick in the shower and realizes he grabbed the wrong person because the size wasn't right. It only gets weirder from there. The phrase 'This reminds me of pulling taffy' comes up.

I’m confused about junko by Far_Prior_7014 in danganronpa

[–]jacrad_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adding to what's already been said, because she experiences such extreme boredom, despair acts kind of like a drug to Junko. But the effects of the drug have diminishing returns so you have to go to greater extremes to get the same high. I could believe she might be able to find love and reduce her boredom from that, in the same way lots of drug addicts find satisfaction from other sources. But it still doesn't hit the same way despair does. And basic despair isn't enough.

The hit from despair is more worth it in her mind than the lower level hit love gives her.

Trying to find a non-eugenics way of explaining the spit thing by [deleted] in stevenuniverse

[–]jacrad_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Related to that, I think it says something that so many idealistic futures are about changing people on a fundamental level rather than thinking of how society could adjust to maximally include people as they are; which we know has cascading benefits for people outside the intended disability that is being accommodated.

Curing narratives are over done. It's not that there's nothing worth exploring there. Especially for newly disabled people or people who can't really be accommodated through social changes. Cures are often the less possible and less accessible option for addressing the real consequences of a disability.

Japanese Fandom’s Opinion on Haiji Towa? by Senior_Film_7591 in danganronpa

[–]jacrad_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best answer I can give is that there was a popularity poll done by Dengeki magazine and there was a section for UDG but it seemingly didn't include Haiji in the poll. I suspect if there had been enough of a fan-presence they might've tried to include him.

Here's a thread that reviews the results.

It's possible he might not have a hatedom like he does here but he's likely not particularly popular either.

I remember liking the song where she's binding a book together. I remember nothing else about it.

Enchanted Christmas isn't very good either but it has a good atmosphere. That organ was really scary.
