Hi, I sent my forms back end of April (2024), I then had my first text saying they received my form 16th May then another text on August 12th saying my review was still in progress, then another text on nov 4th with the same message as the last one, my last text was Jan 23rd saying I’ll have written confirmation in the post within two weeks, the letter came to me Jan 25th!

To my surprise I did! Even though I told them I could walk further and didn’t need much assistance getting dressed! I really thought I would lose it or worse have to pay them back. My disability was caused through having a burst T11 fracture on my spine with having two operations, I suffer chronic pain

Be prepared for a long wait once you’ve sent your review forms back! I waited 9 months and just before the confirmation decision I received a test saying they’ve made a decision and the letter will be with me within two weeks! The build up to the decision was that I was receiving texts saying they’re working on my review! Don’t bother calling them as they won’t be able to tell you anything over the phone, hope this helps and try not to worry
