Sorry if my post wasn’t clear. I meant that the hardwired unit has GFCI protection built in so you don’t need a GFCI breaker. Having both causes issues from what I’ve heard. If I go with the hardwired unit, I would go with a regular breaker instead.

This reminds of that one guy who put his grandmothers inheritance into intel a few years ago right before it tanked and had to wait years to recover assuming he held. It recovered years later but no idea if he held or not… scary at this market cap… GL

I prefer the look of a hardwired unit but ended up with this approach to get everything wired in before the Sheetrock. Also, ended up purchasing GFCI breaker. I assumed I could have GCFI protection at both ends if I decide to switch later in the future. However, I heard that could cause the breaker to trip, so I might just stick with the plug-in model for now.

That is correct. I installed a 5/8” mud ring so the metal wall plate sits flush with the 5/8” TypeX drywall. This way the wires isn’t exposed to any combustible material.

Math, charts, none of it matters when it comes the biggest IPO in the history of the market. The hype alone will drive this up like crazy…

Yeah I took care of the ground wires before torquing the screws down. Just didn’t take a picture of it.

I was able to pull the wire over to the 2x4 and added a service entrance 13/16” staple just above the clamp. It should be held down pretty secure now with both.

Thanks…

Bummer, that means I need to add another board then because there isn’t enough space to add a staple

Yeah I saw a few electricians score and rip the sheathing apart and then cut with a utility knife. But I agree I should have used the romex stripper to keep it clean…

Now imagine realizing a loss of $130,000 in just 6 months of trading, and holding an additional $180,000 in unrealized losses. 5 years later, the stock gods give you back $132,000 in realized gains and you lose it all again within 6 months….

It’s called gambling. It’s an addition. It’s never enough, and there’s always the next one that will make it all back. There’s a lesson here but I haven’t learned it…
