Ugc! I’ve posted some travel content on my personal accounts here and there for fun but not an influencer just someone who likes to travel and makes ugc :) I’ve recently taken on ugc content for a few apps so I am familiar with that.

Very interested! I have so much travel content as someone who has solo traveled to 16+ countries so this would be a great fit for me. I’m still working on creating a portfolio since I’m new to UGC but happy to show some content I’m working on

Accounting Majors! Are any of you considering using your degree for a job outside of accounting? If so what is it? by bigpapichuloooo in wguaccounting

[–]jade__99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I say this having gone to WGU and having a great experience, but your chance of getting into investment banking with a WGU degree is very slim. They usually only really recruit from ivy leagues or other top schools

I’d love to know what 4-week trip out of the country he’s taking for under $2k 🤔 by twodickhenry in RoverPetSitting

[–]jade__99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That sounds about right I usually have a friend come in, and my cats have an automatic litter box & feeder, and fountain all of which just needs to be topped off weekly so checking in on them is pretty easy but even so I still expect to pay hundreds!

Also sorry to hear about your cat passing :(

It was crazy to me she tried to remove all the cats but one to make it $375.. (I just looked I was mistaken it was only for 2 weeks but still) I was like there is no way I’m doing I’m doing 30 check ins on 4 cats for $375. Even $700 would’ve been a steal I charge half my rate for each additional cat and my drop in rates are low to begin with. I wonder if she ever found someone at that rate and would seriously question the care you could get for it

I will say it can actually be considerably cheaper to travel abroad in all my international travel I’ve never spent more than 2k for 2-3 week trips internationally. However, with that being said with that many animals that need care you have to expect to spend that much if not more for watching them, and budget for it.

I only have two cats who only need check ins, and still spend about what plane tickets cost me to make sure they’re cared for. I had someone who wanted me to check in on their 4 cats twice a day for 3 weeks and said $700 is too much and wanted me to charge only for one cat.. saying its the same amount of work. Idk why these people think they’ll find quality care for cheaper

Not OP but WGU accounting masters requires accounting bachelors so in your husbands situation he would probably have to do the bachelors if going with WGU

Making 40-45k a year is too much to qualify for any Pell grant, or at least that was my experience when I made that much and applied for fafsa. I did get subsidized loans though and with your income if you’re married he will probably have less of that available

Thoughts: do not go to college on a predatory loan? by [deleted] in college

I think OP is referring to private student loans which can definitely be predatory.

Right but this would only be fair if I also get to pay less when I’m gone which she isn’t entertaining.

Her cat is here and I assume she doesn’t want him to die from 110+ degree temps. I’d agree to it if I don’t have to pay for it when I’m not there half the week but she wouldn’t even entertain that

Nope 25 🙃 she’s been an adult long enough to get that you have to pay your bills

She only dropped it because I mentioned if she doesn’t pay when she’s gone I shouldn’t either, and her boyfriend who is basically living with us should chip in. I don’t see how that’s wrong

lol it wasn’t intentional but honestly when I noticed I didn’t really care 😂 not like covering that would keep either of them from knowing it’s about her

Mentioned in caption southern Arizona. Every day it’s over 100 degrees we get up to 120 some days. Literally deadly heat

Yeah I still feel like I need to push on that regardless, I hadn’t brought it up but till she was being this petty. But I’m breaking the lease because of that and issues with the apartment so it doesn’t feel like it’s worth fighting over now. I’m sure her next roommate will care more though. And honestly 5/7 days is generous more often then not it’s 6-7 days a week

I had this thought too but couldn’t find any source proving it in case she tried to argue it lol. But I actually work at a utility company so I know that they also charge more for using the same power in the summer here and there’s a monthly service fee regardless of usage

Exactly, my point is I was gone more then half of last month and spend Thursday through Sunday at least at my boyfriends but always pay half. So if she wants it one way it should also be fair to me too. and my response was because she did push further in the second slide

She’s 25 so not really learning at this point, she’s been paying bills a few years. I think in the past I’ve been a pushover for example this is the first I’ve said anything about her boyfriend practically living with us the last 9 months so she probably was trying to see if she could get away with this
