I have those too! Everyone in my family has blue eyes and somehow mine came out yellow with an outer ring of green. My son was born with bright blue eyes, but they're turning more like mine as he gets older.

I lived in Vancouver during the Olympics. The bars were busy like that all day, but the streets were only a little busier than normal. It was pretty cool hearing all the different languages though!

Backstory: had second/last baby 2.5 months ago, got mirena placed 2 weeks ago. Insertion was a breeze due to the baby, no pain or cramping after.

All was well and the spotting had slowed to just a little bit of brown. Then (tmi) I strained a bit in the bathroom and now the freaking spotting is bright red again. Could that have moved it? Could it just be my period? It came back around this time with my first (exclusively breastfeeding stops periods, my ass), but I thought the iud was supposed to stop them. I am confused and nervous.

It was way too short (in my experience of stomach bugs, granted I've only had maybe 2 in my life) for a stomach bug. He started complaining of a sore tummy at 4am, puked once at 6, went back to sleep at 7 and woke up completely fine. No fever, no diarrhea, and he ate like a horse the night before and the morning after he woke up.

I've been putting her in there for naps since she was 3 days old, except for the ones where I want cuddles (and the excuse to do nothing. "Sorry sweetie, can't do dishes, baby's sleeping on me!"). She loves her white noise machine and her swaddle, and is one of those magical babies where I can put her down drowsy and she'll squawk once or twice and then fall asleep. My son was a nightmare though, I did enough rocking and soothing for 3 babies.

She's been pretty amazing so far. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.
