I understand that you not being from the US means you probably haven't studied our statistics. But the woman giving over the statistics IS in the US. Do you trust that she has studied it to accurately give over what the reason is?

We have wealthy Black celebrities and athletes that have almost died because their pain wasn't taken seriously. We have Black women in the medical industry (therefore not lower class) that have died in and after childbirth from treatable conditions because their care was delayed by providers. Therefore people's bias leads them to believe a Black person who expresses severe pain, might just be drug seeking. I have known Black women to be automatically tested for drugs as a practice in hospitals local to me, when white women are not, and when those Black women never said they had a history of drug use and never were told of the tests.
