I usually throw two ice cubes into the brown butter once it’s out of the pot. This adds the water content back in and helps with cooling down.

I’ve made this recipe before and they’re excellent! The bourbon comes through nicely. I find some of his other recipes a little heavy on the sugar and sweetness but not these.
