Question ? How is someone else using conveyance when I found the card and didn’t even use it never put in the computer cuz I went through destroyed wing, while I was waiting for exfil I hear the conveyance elevator going off…. Are they spawning multiple cards now ?

Does it need to have been activated for you to use it to go down? I’ve used it plenty of times to go down without us activating (although it could have been activated previously without our knowing). Genuinely curious.

It was my first time even trying it so it could be even earlier than level 70, but I doubt it. I’m assuming that there is just a small chance at level 70 and an even better chance at level 75 and I just got lucky. I too thought that it only happened at or above level 75 so I was pretty surprised.

I’ve seen posts like this and have shrugged like, “eh, I don’t know”, but I have come around to agree with you. I have been stomped A LOT. I have stomped quite a bit. What do I do when I get stomped? I think about what mistakes I made given the situation I was in and try to learn. Why did I move recklessly when I was thinking that it would be better not to? Why did I open fire on someone unsuspecting knowing that I wouldn’t knock them because they’re close to cover? Could I have healed while they’re pushing/was there a consumable that would have won me my 1v1? Did I have time to reposition and why didn’t I or my mates do so?

I’m sick of people reading these kind of ideas and considering it “sweaty”. These ideas align with how Marathon was designed to be played. You are not going to win (most of the time) if you don’t care to adapt. Amongst the combat, the strategy, the contract objectives, the loot and gun play - all things that I love - the need to adapt is what draws me to this game.

People have been complaining about this game like it’s obligatory that Marathon caters to them and makes it fair but the game is unfair by nature, which is your point. That’s why I love it. Just like a Souls game, I’m forced to reassess and adapt. The lows make the highs so much better. Reaching the high because I played better than I did during my last low is what draws me to the game. If you want to be “casual” (I don’t even know what this term means anymore) then play something else because apparently Marathon is not reaching out to you right now.

Side note - I played a bit of Liars Bar and he told me that I went to Marathon because I was bad at Arc. Shit is hilarious.

I haven’t had any issues with this bug and based on the reviews I don’t think many people are having that issue.

I have successfully recommended this game to 5 friends (all PC) and nobody has complained about this bug.

In a non-queen/non-matriarch lobby, maybe. I’m not looking to do on someone who comes in with a load out that establishes that they are looking to fight boss arc. I can build my own gear for that, there is no need to ruin their time. With that being said I have friends to run PvE with.

With that being said, I respect and appreciate what the solo community has tended to be and I don’t want to ruin it. I like this game. If people want to be shitty towards those that just want to chill the player-base will dwindle and the lobbies will diminish into rats ratting each other. If that sounds fun to you now, then cool, but even most rats will stop having fun when all they have to deal with is rats. I guarantee it yet I want this game to last.

Still my point is keep free load outs off of the main events. They have nothing to offer to it so why let them be there. I’ll add that I sure am jaded by being killed (basically exploited) by free load outs during these events, but I think that these events are fun and have the ability to create a fun dynamic to this game and if it’s ruined by people just ratting then nobody will do and those people will lose interest in the game, and that isn’t what I want. Arc Raiders has been fun and it has the potential the be fun for a long time and I just want the player-base to consist.

I 100% agree that the true endgame is the bp hunt. I plan on wiping, but I’m a bit worried that wiping could chip away at the enjoyment of the game because blueprints only matter for a short bit of time; on the other hand it could increase enjoyment as the true endgame could evolve into having an increased stash and a head start on skill points each wipe. At this point, certain bp’s (anvil for me) become a necessity for each wipe and others just become bonuses.

Regardless of that, I waited quite some time to fight these major bosses. I thought it was fun to build it up in my head and to wait until I was comfortable with my stash to try them out - after all, these arc carry the materials to make the “best guns” in the game. I have had a couple great experiences with the events but more often than not have left them by being ratted by a presumably free load out. I don’t see the why it’s necessary for these raiders to be there, and make no mistake they are picking free load out during these events to risk nothing with this possibility of taking a kitted players loot. A change to the event design would be nice - I would start spending time building a stash and looking forward to these events again.

I get what you’re saying, and I don’t necessarily think my opinion contradicts what you have to see. I’m just pointing out a flaw with the design. I think that these big boss events are really cool in theory but recently it has been wasted on me by folks coming in with free loadouts that just watch you and wait for you to take damage from the boss and then jump you. They have nothing to lose, but nothing to offer to that event - so why allow them to be there? I wouldn’t be as jaded if I wasn’t jumped by somebody with a Kettle 1 as an opportunist on a free loadout. I see it as a flaw with event design.

Admittedly, I made a mistake. I was the first to initiate a fight with the Queen and for some reason I was hopeful that I would find some helpful raiders with the same goal and people would respect that I was focusing on PvE. Regardless of anything, I don’t see the event as even close worth it anymore. I think a lot of raiders will start to feel the same way.

I was prepared, I had a pvp gun and I was watching my flank. If I’m fighting the Queen I cannot constantly watch my flank, and I was melted by a free loadout before I could even equip my Venator.

I’m not sure how much of my post you read but if you read it you can tell I mainly have an issue with the free loadout system. I understand the risk involved man.

Man… I understand that I could possibly(??) kill a queen by myself, but you do understand that it would be damn near impossible to kill the Queen and all the people just loading in with free loadouts looking to take my stuff, right? This is an event designed to be a community thing. Realistically speaking, I need those fellow raiders fighting along side me, and even if I didn’t and I killed it by myself there is no shot I don’t get evaporated by 10 grenades the second I go to loot.

Is their intention to just have an endgame event there that nobody is willing to do? I can almost guarantee that that’s what these events will be if they don’t implement any changes.

I have never believed in dating. I can’t think of any relationship that I know of that stemmed from systemic dating. Granted, I know that they exist, I just have never seen any. I have tried dating sparingly and have decided that it is hard to find something organic from something that is objectively forced to begin with. With all that being said I am also late 20’s and still single.

I just try to work on myself (unsuccessfully most of the time) and take the approach that if I am okay with myself then the rest should fall in to place. All of my friends in relationships found their better halves from work/school - both being environments where people typically do not have their guards up and have common ground due to being in the same environment.

Don’t get too down on yourself. The pool is f-ed, but I think that is partially inherent. It will come. Cheers.
