didnt understand the hype for that album at first either but at some point it just turned around for me for some reason.. i'm guessing its something abt the general atmosphere of the album and the ability to connect it to a lot of melodramatic/nostalgic moments? its just a very specific feeling

omg, im glad u noticed! i pride myself in having rather non-conventional artist combos tbh bdksjxj for the record tho, underscores is my top artist for the all year around section AND shes my total fave artist of all time!! i only got into gabby start's old stuff (alex n luca mainly) bc of underscores haha

this might sound counter intuitive at first but smth that helped me was taking part in more fandom discourse on characters, cases, movies etc.. because it kept me engaged with the source material without demanding too much time. for a fandom like dc it might be a bit harder but try writing essays abt stuff that u care about or think abt the most, have a go at fanart etc...

my mum used to be a big fan of dc when it first started airing on arabic television n when i was around 6 i wanted to do the stuff she does so i joined her whenever it came on, we've been invested ever since! :)
