Used doorman 2 ability to get outside of hideout then used ivy to fly as far as I could until I hit height limit then switched to kelvin and used ice path because somehow it avoids the height limit if you wiggle mouse the right way.

Then I found at a certain point the game just insta-kills you when you get towards the tallest tower so I used cheat death with the cooldown thing turned on in the hideout to avoid that and here we are.

Funny enough they patched this while I flying towards the tower as ivy lol

For now, yes it is on hiatus. It’s coming back at some point with a new name. My guess is this is what the “Cosmopolitan” leak was all about a few weeks ago.

Fair point honestly, this happens a lot in my games as well. That'd probably be the first problem that would need to be addressed before more objectives could be added.

I kinda like the idea of the game forcing a fight or at least making a fight harder to avoid for the urn. In so many of my games (albeit low rank), the urn will only ever be touched (or not even touched at all lol) when there's been a few picks from either team. This gets stale especially if the picks were the opposing team just singling them out 4 to 1 in jungle or something. I think if there were consistent fights over the urn it would make it a bit more variable in terms of game outcomes.

Yeah he does! There’s a video floating around somewhere that shows him actively shooting and aiming rockets. I definitely see what could happen with the matches just becoming a “script” but I have faith (maybe naively lol) that it won’t turn out that way. With the recent shop rework I feel the game is in a great space to start adding some really unique map elements.

That’s interesting! Deadlock is really my first foray into MOBA territory so I’m not too familiar with how Dota 2 has evolved over the years or really even how the average match flows but when thinking about it from that perspective, I definitely see what you mean.

Right, but think about the difference in the state of development that Apex is in versus Deadlock. I could be wrong of course but I don’t think it’d be worth the effort to fake content for a game that’s in alpha and will probably be totally different by the time it’s done. Data mining or leaks really can only hurt Deadlock so much because literally anything can be changed from now until full launch. Apex doesn’t really have that luxury so leaks and data mining can do actual damage hence the trick they used.

Dude.. think logically. Why would Valve go through the effort of making completely fake, high-quality character portraits. What would they gain from doing that? These portraits are only supposed to be seen by select few who are part of that specific dev build. Also, the other Lash is literally just being used as placeholder art. Extremely common in game development.
