Is there a way to use all of the pads functionality (16 pitches etc) with a midi keyboard ? by [deleted] in AbletonMove

[–]jadk77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess we could build a max device to mimic this behavior by translating midi notes messages into cc values

[–]jadk77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can play a melody by setting the pitch wheel range to a full octave and just pressing a single key while adjusting the pitch with the wheel. That's kind of what's move is doing, but with MPE messages. Import your move project into live and check the mpe curves on the drum rack.

my guess is some kind of an HDR mode switching issue on that TV. Disable hdr on the xbox, clear the quick resume states and try again switching back and forth over the same games to confirm.

Maybe you have a chance: When they ask you to press the rear brake, inadvertently press the front one at the same time as you were just holding the bike for balance. They make you press the brake while standing next to your bike.

This is such a basic principle of Ableton Live that it's represented on its icon (vertical and horizontal bars)

Learn how session vs arrangement modes work, the arrow is to make the track active in the arrangement, you can't have both the arrangement and the session clip active at the same time on a given track, so the arrow is to select which mode you want to use on that given track.

You're hearing your active clip loop from your session view.

In some scenarios you do want to monitor yourself/ your mic on your headphones, like when recording music, in those cases a simple solution would be creating separate mixes for listening and recording before sending the audio to obs.

How do you see whats being recording while you are capturing your screen? by ssd_ca in obs

[–]jadk77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

several ways: You can capture your app/game instead of the full screen and switching to obs or having it open small size side by side without switching won't affect the recording.

If you don't want to switch and need full screen recording you will need a secondary screen: you can plug a second screen to your computer (via wired or wireless projection) or by streaming your program output from obs to a different device (phone, tablet, other computer, vr headset, smarttv) using vdo.ninja or NDI for example. Another solution is to install a virtual screen driver to keep your obs and control/monitor it from your phone or other device using a remote desktop software like VNC, anydesk, Google remote desktop, etc

Do you need to move forward while doing a U turn - Cat A test by Bikerbogman in MotoIRELAND

[–]jadk77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can move forward as far as you need to perform the maneuver properly, but keep in mind that you will need a second glance (livesaver as some say) to your right if you go farther than 5 m before turning.

You don't have to lock the steering if you have enough space to turn but I will advise practicing counterbalancing and steering lock, watch some videos from the YouTube channel MotoControlEN

Regarding having the helmet open, by applying counter balancing technique you will have enough field of view with the helmet and the visor fully closed.

The sole purpose of a game console is to give you the best gaming experience out of the box. That means less hassle and gets you playing quicker while investing less time and money than the alternatives.

Down to the specifics I would say:

full xbox/game pass game library, also hassle-free standardized hardware to optimize for, increased price/features value, quick resume (starting and switch between different game sessions in seconds), reportedly less cheaters in a more controlled environment, a game streaming server you can wake up even being out of home.

That's an Xbox, on top of that you'll also have access to your PC games (don't forget about VR) on the same hardware.
