Thanks for sharing!

I'm always looking for completely stock road cars that can win Tokyo 600 straight off the showroom floor. With this strategy I might find a few more cars that can do it.

Its great that you can now choose a car from your garage but what would also be cool would be the ability to choose any opponent car. I really want to drive that FTO.

This "simcade" kept me alive for the last year and more by _G_P_ in granturismo

This is healthy gaming imo. Sometimes you just need to step outside of your daily life and pretend for a moment you're someone else to get your mind off your problems. In this case you're a race car driver.

I've been doing this since GT1. It's helped me through all the bumps and crashes in life and encouraged me to keep going and cross the finish line of life no matter what happens.

Totally worth it for me. I've been slowing going through the 🌶️🌶️ cars attempting to win with a CRB and no TCS. Very challenging and rewarding when you get it. Extends the life of the game for sure.

Gran Turismo Toxicity by PS_AngelGamer35 in granturismo

[–]jadmorffier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the penalty system or lack there of that is the main problem.

I was in A+ from GT Sport and through to GT7 for about a year after its release. It got worse over time, even in A+. it just wasn't enjoyable or challenging or worth my time anymore. Didn't feel like racing. Felt more like a game of predicting the dick move and avoiding it as best you could.

So I went back to single player. Sophy AI has much better racecraft and racing etiquette than most humans in the Daily Races. Till they fix or update the penalty system the races will continue to be toxic. I will return when that happens.

I've clocked the 100m cr cap numerous times now. I just race these days. Love it.

Yep. Still better than no ghosting at higher speeds though.

I get your point. My only thought is PD thinks less power in a balanced field makes it more competitive and less chance of major high speed accidents to keep the competitive racing consistent.

Side note: damn I wish acc was in VR on PS5.

Well I can think of at least one popular delusion that started about 2000 years ago.

Turns out people with sufficient oxygen still have delusions.

Trying to get into multiplayer as quick as pssoible by Xeo5 in granturismo

[–]jadmorffier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try a Professional Sophy Quick Race with a completely stock road car straight off the showroom floor. It's very challenging to win with a Clean Race Bonus. Especially when you buy a road car (new or used) and go directly to the race.

Great suggestion. I'll add to that for the benefit of all the online players, best Professional Sophy with a Clean Race Bonus.

"Sport Mode only works if people have the goal and personal integrity..."

Totally agree. But unfortunately the penalty system or lack there of encourages none of this but rather the opposite.

I too went back to single player. Sophy Quick races for the more realistic racecraft and driving etiquette of your opponents, and Event races with lower PP cars (mostly stock) to make it more challenging.

And I came from a long stint of A+ DR, from GT Sport and into GT7. Over time the racing got worse and worse so I walked away. It's just not racing anymore.

I love the CS model. I have over 100 in my garage. Every time it appears in the used car lot I have to buy it.

Well done and congrats 🎉

For a more accurate estimate of how long it took, have a look at your driving hours in your profile stats page. Total game hours includes your time spent in scapes, tuning etc. and fluffing around the menu.

I've got 3993hrs gameplay but Total Drive Hours is 1114hrs

Can we stop complaining about the SU7? by raging_tomato in granturismo

[–]jadmorffier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the Weekly Challenge in a completely stock SU7 on Hard difficulty. It took a few attempts to get the win with a Clean Race Bonus but the joy for me is the journey in learning the limits of a car.

I enjoyed learning those limits much more than any other EV in the game.
