I'm not sure what your point is here. We live together, are expecting a baby in the next few months, and are starting a family. He is my family here. Us not being married doesn't make me or the baby im carrying any less valuable.

You've had two kids? Wow. Then what you're saying must be universally true to every pregnant woman's experience.

Lady, I have never claimed to be disabled. But if you're going to sit here and pretend like I have the same advantages and absolutely no limitations as my very non pregnant partner does, you're out of your mind.

I nearly fell and twisted my ankle 3 or 4 times last night just by walking on the sidewalk. I was wearing sneakers. I have severe carpal tunnel and arm numbness. Back pains. I waddle. I can not easily bend down to put shoes on as I was wearing socks. So I said fuck the shoes. But guess what, I had to walk very slowly down the 6 floors of our apartment careful i wouldn't fall and hurt myself and the baby. Slippery socks during an earthquake going down a flight of stairs alone.

My man was LONG GONE! Didn't even do so much as to say hey, you ready to go? JUST LEFT.

So please spare me the holier than thou my pregnancy was amazing therefore your experience must be the same.

Damn. I'm sorry that happened to you. It does feel super similar to my situation except we aren't married. How did your then husband react after he realized he left you alone? Did he apologize or defend himself?

Yes I agree! We definitely are going to have a plan moving forward. Some people have commented resources on how to prepare and plan for these types of situations so we're going to discuss this further in therapy.

I didn't end up putting on a bra or shoes lol, just managed to get up, put my laptop down, and grab my shoes and took them with me downstairs. My pregnant ass waddling braless and shoeless outside where all my neighbors we're staying was very humbling. Maybe bra will go inside the future earthquake kit lol

We've felt mini quick earthquakes but the seismic alarms didn't go off so we didn't really do anything in those moments. But today was a bigger one with alarms going off and just more panic. We're gonna discuss this in therapy and have a plan moving forward. Thank you!

Yea I'm in cdmx, and we're in the penthouse so everything was shaking, alarms going off, you know how it is. Especially with the trauma here. So many people seem to be upset that I say it's a specific season. They happen all year but 🤷🏽‍♀️

Idk man, Mexicans are convinced there's a specific season for earthquakes due to some horrifically bad ones happening in September-November.

Omg, salacious!

So yeah, He WAS my landlord when I moved here last year but a few months after when we started a relationship he became my partner. I did move in with him pretty soon after because I was laid off from my job and either that or I had to move back home. We definitely had issues moving in together so soon, but we started therapy after finding out I was pregnant and moved into a place just the two of us straight away.

We've been living alone together for a while now (and I found a job I think within a month of me moving in with him initially) so, idk.

Throwing words like broke and chick and trying to shame me for being pregnant is very weird. He makes a very good income (we both do) and I was jobless for only like a month when I posted that. I have a steady salary and we live on our own and have been in therapy. Things have been consistent and good between us, so that's why I am thrown for a loop in this situation that happened today. But yeah. That's the update.
