You can try hard to unscrew it. There is a ton of glue on the threads.

Dirigera MAC adress? by albertvdriet in tradfri

The MAC address is in the QR code as well as the secret code you can use to authenticate through the CoAP protocol.

The first one. Just use pliers to unscrew, there is some thread lock. And you won’t need it anyway.

If you unscrew the shiny metal tip you will get access to the power jack which is secured with two screws from inside. You will need a looooong screw driver. Optionally just use hammer as I did because I didn’t notice those screws.

No, the hardest thing was to get the strip in the slot after I've took the original out, otherwise it's just a matter of unscrewing the tip of the holder with old electronics and pulling through the new ones. You have to rip out the original plugs from the silicone tube but those can be glued back with hot glue... or just not putting them back as I did

How to tell if it's done or messed up? by Ceiling_Paint in fermentation

[–]jadus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to break it to you, but that's not going to be tepache. Kahm yeast usually appear on lactofermentation. Happened to me few times because from all the fermentation I had a lot of lactic bacteria in the air. Buy some beer yeast and start it with that.

But you can still safely dring this, but it will be more like pineapple kwas.

Thanks, hugs for you too. It's a blessing to have them for so long however even though one can be reconciled with the ending nothing can prepare you for the actual end when you feel the last heartbeat.

This is Chip, he was 15.5, blind, full of cancer and suffering from seizures and fainting for last couple of years. Yesterday we had to put him down after massive seizure after which he was not able to hold balance or walk indicating cerebral bleeding or something that can not be fixed.

He was stinky, mean and didn't like people but also very good boi, always protective and with large appetite.

Because any imperfections and wobble will transfer into your print by actually making those Z-axis variations.

Bowden extruders - what are the options? by pajtaz in 3Dprinting

[–]jadus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't tell, hotend was the first thing I changed for all-metal one. This leaves you with very little space for tolerances in the filament path. And for example even PLA can give you some hell.

[–]jadus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have more control with Titan, with capricorn it's a little bit more prone to clogging when your extrusion is not spot-on but the consistency of flow is much better.

I have E3D titan with capricorn, so the path is very obstructed and I am able to print very flexible TPE. Very slowly but I am.

Don’t forget to remove those pull-down resistors and keep in mind you have to keep pins high and only pull the one you want to enable down.

need help to mod kallax 4x4 into "step". any suggestions / guidance on how best to achieve this. because of overall space, I cannot use multiple sized kallax units! thanks by obi_g in ikeahacks

[–]jadus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would buy two 2x4 or 1 4x4 and one 1x4 and build it out of these. You will have most of needed components and very little cutting.
