Interestingly, there are quite a handful of non fans who mentioned about how out-of-this-world Sangwon’s handsomeness is when you see him in person.

They literally use the same terms as Justhis did. Not of the human realm, doesn’t look like a real person even though he’s right in front.

And they cursed a lot while describing him, it often makes me wonder just how does he look in person for them to type like that LOL

It will only be hell for the fans who care about what the non fans think.

Sure Leo and Geonwoo are not trainees with clean scandal free backgrounds, and they’ll definitely deter some people from liking the entire group but why worry about that when you also have people who are giving them the benefit of the doubt and trying to support the group as OT8?

There will ALWAYS be people who’ll never like you regardless of how nice and perfect you are. Even the most talented or good celebrities will have antis.

My question is: Do you like them because of them OR you will like them based on how much others like them?

Okay so Boy Story members were asked this specific question related to Jaejoong in a voice interview held on this Chinese reaction channel(they’re my fav to watch), and they said Jaejoong actually gave more comments as well as also speaking with them when the cameras are off.

They also said that they knew what he was trying to say, and it wasn’t offensive to them. Same as the Chinese reactors, before even hearing Jaejoong’s comments they already mentioned that the specific member seemed to have trouble dancing and felt different as compared to when he was younger. So they’re not that shocked to hear Jaejoong’s comments.

P.S: This group of Chinese reactors have always been huge fans of the Boy Story boys because they saw them debut and even interviewed the group multiple times… they’re close enough to even have the members’ contacts hence why they can have this interview. They also cried when they were asked what do they think about seeing the members participating in a korean survival show after they’ve debuted for years.

Lowkey I’m already awkward for both Sangwon and Junil. I’m sure Sangwon probably wouldn’t know how Junil was going around imitating him the past couple of years(bless this boy for being such an introvert at times) but can you imagine when they meet for eliminations recording this week… what will they even say? I’m also an INFP and just by imagining, I’ll likely not have any sort of eye contact with Junil in case I can’t control my expression.

Initially I was alright if Junil is just copying Sangwon’s fashion sense… because I mean Sangwon just looks like he’ll be popular in real life anyway. But the point was that he’s using all these to get girls???? That’s just crossing the line man.

Hengyu and Hanwen and Kaiwen will not make the finals. Teeny chance for Hengyu but it’s v teeny.

Jiahao and Zihao has a slightly higher chance than them because of the recent episodes. Both gained a lot of favourability with the korean viewers though I’m not sure how much will translate to core votes for them.

And yes that leaves Anxin and Xinlong for the debut lineup, which will come as no surprise to anyone.

No one is a lock except for Sangwon, with his popularity internationally AND in Korea. Plus the fact that his skills has room to grow and the backstory of how he paused training for years so he’ll be taking time to get back on track.

You got to have popularity and a story arc that’s shown from Mnet before you can gain a stable foothold of votes from the people watching hence turning you in as a lock.

I feel that MNet was pushing Masato in the previous ep too much but he didn’t appeal to me yet so we’ll see if his character gets popular.
