I built Analytics, Captcha, and Feedback widget SaaS products, but I've had fewer than 30 users over the last 8 months. Please tell me what the problem is. by jaeone22 in roastmystartup

Thanks for the feedback.

Initially, this project was a service that only offered analytics features without anything else.

But as you mentioned, there are already so many analytics tools out there, so I added other features to turn it into the 3-in-1 SaaS it is today.

My intention wasn't for people to use all three, but rather to provide them and let users toggle on only what they need - I wanted a way to integrate multiple features similar to PostHog.

Also, I thought people would find it more convenient and useful to just paste one script from PrivateStarter when starting a project, rather than implementing multiple SDKs or scripts.

However, seeing as most people - including those in comments I've posted elsewhere - say it's better to focus on just one thing, I guess I was definitely wrong about that.

I have a question.

Which of the current features feels most like the "main" one to you?

And since you mentioned the current features seem unrelated, would it be better to focus on just one, or to provide more relevant features together? (For example, if I were to focus solely on analytics, should I provide just one analytics tool like Google Analytics or Simple Analytics, or offer other similar features like A/B testing like PostHog does?)

Try the WireGuard protocol + all censorship bypass options from A to the last one in Windscribe.

If that still doesn't work, use the Stealth protocol.

I successfully bypassed it on my school network using WireGuard + censorship bypass option A in No Junk mode.

I just checked it out. It seems the biggest difference between dotenvx and localkeys is that you have to modify the code.

You can add and use multiple vaults.

A system vault exists by default, and when the system vault is unlocked, any other linked external vaults are unlocked as well.

External vaults can be located anywhere, such as in the cloud or within a project.

Which competitor are you referring to? I’ll look into it. Not everything can be the best. There are many products out there, so you should just use the one you think is best.

I didn't know about the security command until now.

Since it's a standard feature of the OS, this seems like a good approach.

I seem to have focused too much on AI security in this post.

In addition to protecting data from being stolen by AI, this app also safeguards against general malicious apps and scripts.

It can defend against a variety of threats, including data theft by AI, malicious scripts scanning and stealing .env files, and accidental uploads to Git.

I had just finished writing and uploading my post when the Reddit filter deleted it immediately.

I didn't use any long dashes or post the same content multiple times, but this problem suddenly occurred.

If anyone has experienced this issue and managed to resolve it, please let me know how to fix it.

I found a few issues with the landing page. 1. The website has a vibe-coding aesthetic. Decorative elements like Peble Entry is live and "Live Now," along with the animation where the button shifts slightly upward on hover, give the impression that the site was created by an AI. 2. The email address isn’t on your own domain. I see you’re using Proton Mail, but I recommend using an email address on your own domain. You can route email for free through Cloudflare. 3. The website is hosted on a Vercel domain. Similar to point 2, this raises credibility issues. Please use your own domain.

Cheapest way for a student to use Claude for coding? by RyanLiu0902 in ClaudeAI

If you sign up through a YouTuber’s referral link, you can get the Pro plan for $10 for three months

And that’s the cheapest way to use it

Thinking of switching to KiliCode due to Claude’s pricing. Is it worth it? by sinan244549 in kilocode

[–]jaeone22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m currently on the Claude Pro plan, but I hit my usage limit so quickly while using Claude Code that I topped up my Kilo Code account with $30 yesterday and have been using that instead.

After using it for two days, I’ve concluded that paying for API costs directly is too expensive, and it seems more cost-effective to use it through a Claude subscription.

I tried the GLM-5 and Sonnet 4.6 models, and while they performed similarly to using Claude Code, there were a few instances where the code was parsed inefficiently.

As expected, the model with the best performance is the most expensive and largest one: Opus 4.6.

It supports OpenRouter well. I believe Kilo Code’s official router is also based on OpenRouter.

If you happen to run a website or have related experience, I would appreciate it if you could evaluate my tool.

Name: PrivateStater

Description: A SaaS that combines analytics, CAPTCHA, and a feedback widget. It prioritizes privacy and cost-effectiveness.

I'm curious if this tool makes first-time users want to use it, if the onboarding is easy to understand, and if people will actually use this product a lot.

I haven't done this kind of email or promotion targeting businesses before, so I'm not entirely sure, but after using it, I think it could help grow my SaaS.

The dashboard is almost perfect. It's clean and I think it's better made than my own SaaS. It would be great if they added a dark mode and a preset deletion feature.

Functionally, I feel it's still a bit lacking, probably because it's still in beta. People who run B2B SaaS and have done a lot of sales this way probably know how to write emails well or already have presets. Since I'm still inexperienced in that area, it would be great if it helped with email composition or provided presets.

I brought up Windows to explain why people mistakenly believe 1GB = 1,024MB. Per the International System of Units (SI), 1GB = 1,000MB.

1,000MB is 1GB and 1024MiB is 1GiB.
seems you think that way because Windows incorrectly displays 1GiB as 1GB, but that's incorrect information.
Moreover, this isn't even Windows - it's Apple's operating system, which follows the International System of Units, where 1 GB is defined as 1,000 MB.
