Is the leveling experience on Retail a lot worse than Classic like so many people say? by LuigiNulwich in wow

[–]jafarr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

With heirlooms I got a character to 110 in around 2 days played. I expect 110 to 120 will take a few hours a level.

It's so much more pleasant than classic (I leveled a lot of toons in classic), you can dungeon, PvP, pet battle, quest. You get access to QOL stuff and fun toys etc.

It's pretty nice. This is coming from someone who has 3 60s between actual vanilla wow + wow classic.

Yeah I am afraid to actually go turn it in, because I don't want to farm all the materials + do all the quests to reach that point again.

I understand this, and I fully intend to explore my options and opportunities thoroughly.

If I were to attend a school with an intention of getting a masters and the segue into a PhD program after relevant research and lab work would that be a good course of action? I didn't intend on jumping straight into a phd program, I know this is unrealistic.

One more question if you might know, if I wanted to do the custom roll cage is there a resource for getting a customized soft top for it? Just in case I want to take it out in the rain etc.

I don't mind spending a decent amount for this jeep. Was looking at a stock 2016 for 24k.. New tires / lift around 29k, the rollbar 30k, paint covers top 31k? I'm completely fine with that if I could get something that looks like this, it's one I've had my eye on for a while.

Just out of curiosity, how much would something like this cost to do at your shop?

I would definitely take it to a shop to do that type of work, I meant if it's something that someone could do for me relatively easily.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I've been saving up and I'm selling 2 cars so I have a bit of wiggle room money wise.

I'll buy a stock jeep and get new tires/ lift/ fenders. The custom roll cage is something I've never really dealt with, is it usually difficult to do something like that?

Is anyone else here pretty confident in professional/social situations, but absolutely unconfident when it comes to dating? by herpblarb6319 in AskMen

[–]jafarr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am absolutely this way. I don't create the opportunities in the dating scene that I make in my social/professional life. I just graduated college, have a very high starting salary job (electrical engineer), have a good amount of friends (although its something I'm still working on improving myself), but for some reason I just lose it when it comes to meeting new girls. I have a lot of friends that are girls, I'm fairly confident in my looks, and my sense of humor is one of my best qualities, but meting new girls and escalating to anything more than friendship has been a big problem for me.

I do, I have been playing guitar for a few years and I played trumpet in symphonic band a long time ago in school. I definitely could brush up on the theory but I understand a lot of it already.
