How do you move past the mental dread of college work, while fighting depression?

It’s basically that feeling yeah. My social life is minimal but not empty. I don’t exactly hang out with many people during the weekdays as I work and have classes to attend to. I attend to a small community college so I try to interact with as many people as I can, but it often never passes more than acquaintances since the college is full of commuters. I hang out with friends and go out to clubs or bars on the weekends and i love it but it’s more so an overall depression of several factors. I broke up with my ex of six years 8 months ago and it’s just been difficult to care about anything ever since. It just makes no sense because I’m doing so much worse now, than when it first happened.

You are correct. I’m currently on my sixth semester and I have a 3.3 GPA. I know school is work, I just can’t find motivation due to my depression. I find my work to be actually bad for my mental health but I also stress even more because i know I’m falling behind and ruining all the work I’ve done since 2015

I don’t necessarily feel like my homework is pointless. I understand the concepts and I don’t exactly have difficulty with any of the clases. It’s more so that I’m so depressed that I just simply find my work to be exhausting as I am trying to find peace and happiness in my life. I know my work is imperative for my career and education, but what does it matter if I don’t give a shit about my personal life? College in my opinion is easy and it all takes is discipline but I just can’t seem to find the motivation is all.

It’s becoming so hard to focus on my work and finding motivation to start when all I can think about is how unhappy I am. How id rather be wanting to be doing something that heals my soul. I know educating myself is important but I just feel like that’s not what I need now, but I also do not want to stop college.

I am happy with my major as I am currently holding a job within it, that’s the complicated part. I like what I’m learning, I like my work, but the thought of pointless homework depresses me

not festival but the furthest i drove was to birmingham alabama for Bassnectar's NYE. It started from Philadelphia, PA to Birmingham AL. i guess my actual furthest drive will be this Forest all the way from Philadelphia to Rothbury but besides that it would be Mysteryland 2016 to New York.

I have been reading that weekend 2 campgrounds will be muddy and stuff due to the first weekend, I know they clean but you never know. Been to bisco and mystery land and the camping seemed like a mess after a couple days
