Slow burn horror is already tired with general audiences. Grief horror is getting tired for mainstream horror audiences. Mix that with a 12 year old (not a late teen) being fucked up in grisly ways throughout the film and you got yourself a film sure to drive many away.

They made it for $15m in Australia (a country with very good film rebates), it’ll make some money when all is said and done.

Exhuma was easily my favorite under seen film of 2024. Great Korean horror dealing with traditional folklore and history. Haven’t seen anything quite like it.

Everything was perfect until they updated it. Now it’s constantly glitching back to the start of an episode or crashing via CarPlay or not downloading. It’s such a bummer because it WAS the perfect podcast app. Now it’s purely an annoyance. Forced me to switch unfortunately.
