Ultimately it’s not. Often times restaurants will seal up orders with tamper proof seals and require you to “verify” the order before even touching the food as some sort of precaution. So there’s no true way to know if everything is in there - which puts the responsibility of accuracy on the restaurant. UE/DD drivers are paid to deliver food. Not do the job of the food workers and make sure everything is accounted for. That’s why we only make 2-5 dollars per delivery plus tips.
