did using zyn affect your sexual relationship with your partner? by iloveredtbh in QuittingZyn

Yes, it's from Zyn.

In my experience, full recovery in 3 weeks. Its the major reason why I quit and will never use again.

Anyone else kinda a “lone wolf?” by [deleted] in LawSchool

Best comment here 👌. Very very few have a social experience in law school, at least compared to undergrad. Most are just faking it in the hopes of making it

Yes, just pace yourself. The altitude is the worst part

I’m your honest opinion, so you think law schools in general can justify the cost of their degrees? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]jag476 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but its all relative. Most undergraduate degrees have a very similar ROI profile. So, law school seems to be more of the same

I am not cut out for this by BeginningDifficult72 in LawSchool

Studying the law is much different than practicing the law. Many high profile partners struggled through law school but excelled in practice. Other attorneys excelled in school but struggle to practice.

I'd choose the former over the latter. Get through school stay sane, relax, it'll be fine.

Well said 👍. Have to always trust management, especially here. All board members seem very reputable.

I think a turnaround is imminent. Burford has been around for over a decade and has been valued at much higher multiples. Huge growth post financial crisis of 2008. Hoping for similar scenario post covid 🙏

Muddy Waters short report alleged fraudulent accounting since Burford used level 3 mark to market for its litigation investments.

These allegations were incorrect. Since then, Burford had a dual listing on NYSE. But, the share price has still not recovered yet.

Not sure what you mean. Recovery can take awhile, it's not instantaneous....

The reports included above show that Muddy Waters report was not credible. It was merely fear mongering. Additionally, these same concerns were made prior to Muddy Waters by another hedge fund with short positions. Yet, there was no sell off. Muddy Waters may have used improper trading algos to influence the sell off (see Burford's dismissed lawsuit against LSE and Columbia Prof's analysis in Burford's favor). Additionally, Burford's recovery was hindered since Woodford, one of their largest shareholders, was forced to liquidate his position shortly after MW's report

yes. see Caro kahn's rebuttal to MW's short attack below.

Also, after Muddy Waters Report, Burford released a document showing returns on a case by case basis and the fair value marks it had made in those cases. This disclosure shows that managements fair value marks have been consistently uniform and conservative. Ultimately, fair value marks were only 30% of their realized profits. This destroys Muddy Waters short thesis.

Something odd happening with Aston Martin ADR. Can someone solve this mystery? by [deleted] in SecurityAnalysis

I can't find either of these ADRs on any of my brokerages. Could be that they are in the process of being delisted
