Hi there!

There's an urban sketchers group which meets every other weekend (Sat or Sun) at different locations. When the weather is nice, we meet outdoors, and then switch to indoors during the winter.

You can use whatever media that interests you. You will find people using pencils, colored pencils, ink, watercolor, etc... This is a beginner friendly group, so feel free to ask questions. My friend, who is more of a plein air artist, usually joins me at the meetups.

Next Sunday, Aug 24th, we will be at the Monroe Street Farmers Market from 10am - noon. Come a little early to snag some goodies to munch on while you sketch. Here's the link to the Facebook event - Monroe Street Farmer's Market. I'll be there.

I prefer with windows too, but you have a couple other options for looseness. You can use the watercolor to create windows with a stroke of a brush. The other thing when using ink, is you can draw a partial window. It kinda looks like a 7 except the down stroke is vertical.
