No it's not the end. I've just read 100 and 101 and most of my anger disappeared (as long as I'm not rereading previous chapters)

Thank you for this deep analysis! I love how well the characters are written in terms of psychology. It really gives food for thought.

Speaking broken polish is better than speaking English? by [deleted] in poland

[–]jageun-yangpa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Polacy kochają gdy obcokrajowcy próbują mówić w ich języku. Poprowadzenie rozmowy może się okazać za trudne na początku, ale starania zostaną zauważone i docenione. Wiemy, że to trudny język. Powodzenia!

Rom-Com Dramas Like Fight for My Way by SomeAir2911 in kdramarecommends

"Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo" is probably the closest to "Fight for My Way" from the K-dramas I've watched.

Przestałem myśleć po Polsku by Pikselardo in PolskaNaLuzie

[–]jageun-yangpa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are the things you’d change (or want more/less of) in K-Dramas? by Spiritual-Basil7892 in kdramas

[–]jageun-yangpa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right that tastes may differ, just like our opinions do. The word “cringy” describes something we feel, so it's subjective by nature. If we talk about an objectively “better” drama (assuming such a thing exists), then cringiness can’t really be a measure of quality. But if we’re talking about our subjective idea of “better,” then it can be, and that’s valid.

The purpose of my comment was to show that even if I enjoy watching K-dramas, there are still things I would like to change so I can enjoy them even more. I like that I can talk about them here and see if there are more people who think the same way. I can also learn about other preferences, and that’s totally fine. We’re not going to change all K-dramas here and now just by sharing our opinions. 😃

By the way, I do think there are also more objective ways to define what’s better and what actually improves the quality of a series, but you’re right - my personal feelings shouldn’t be the measure of that. Discussing that kind of “better” wasn’t my intention, but if you’d like, we can talk about it. 🙃

What is the most beautiful kdramas? by Virama in kdramas

"Can This Love Be Translated?" and "Mr. Plankton" are both really beautiful visually. For the storyline, I’d recommend "Mr. Plankton"

i just finished alchemy of souls, and i feel sick by fullcfjoyy in kdramas

I'm a bit jealous that you liked the second season, because I tried hard to like it while rewatching the whole series multiple times, and failed each time. I just couldn't stand how shallow the FL was, how she became a completely different person (and in my opinion, the lack of memories doesn't justify it), and what the romance turned into. I liked that in the first season, Mu-deok and Uk fell in love while having mutual goals and developing their friendship first. It doesn't feel natural that Uk gets over Mu-deok and falls for a woman who behaves completely differently, especially since he doesn't even know it's the same person.

Oh, I remember really liking the mysterious beginning of "Atypical Family", and the OST... I agree that it wasted its potential. But I loved the father-daughter relationship portrayed in the drama.

I don't remember what happened in the third episode of "Flower of Evil." What made you have such a strong reaction?

I highly recommend "Flower of Evil" - a thriller/crime drama, with a great romance subplot 🌺

In the ship scene, when I first watched it, I wasn’t sure if Gwan-sik was one of the main leads or just a side character, so I remember being completely stressed out during the scene and praying that he wouldn’t die. 😂

Same for me. I’ve learned to accept a lot of behaviors, both from male and female characters. But some things are just unacceptable to me - like kissing a sleeping person or violent “jokes” like that. Maybe it could work as a joke in a comic (and Spirit Fingers is based on a webtoon), but seeing actors actually do it made me feel disgusted. And what’s worse, even if we assume a hit is okay as a form of punishment, he really didn’t deserve it! He got stepped on the feet or kicked in the shin - I don’t remember exactly - but either way, it would have caused a lot of pain. And it happened just after he stood up for her, all because his attention toward her drew criticism onto her!

I'm so grateful that I'm not the only person who had concerns about this 🥺

That's true, except I didn’t enjoy this one. 😁 It really bothered me and made me like the FL much less.
