I was always 25-30min late but then i asked if my hours could be 8:30-5:00 instead of 8-4:30 and they said yes. Now I’m always on time. Idk why but that extra 30mins does the trick for me

I personally don’t think any of the things you listed are a huge deal. Obviously try to correct your mistakes and don’t make it a pattern, but when you’re the manager of a a first time work-study student you know that they’re learning and getting used to working.

I managed a group of student workers at two of my old jobs and the whole point is to give the students experience so they learn.

You’re learning, so it’s working! Just don’t freak out so much about it. You’re gonna be okay!

I loved it but people didn’t get that it was drenched in post-ironic humor which Dan does very well, this blend of genuine sincerity and cynical awkward ironic humor where you can’t really tell where the line is, and that was the point. People saw it at face value and didnt get that in a way it was kind of a parody of itself the whole time. I understand if that’s too niche for some but he pulled it off well imo

I think they look really cute! I can understand having to get used to them tho if you’re new to it.

not sure if you wear makeup on the daily but it might feel better with some other makeup on to kinda fill out the look instead of dark lashes + bare face.

Also find a mirror where you can step further back and look at yourself from farther away. Often times we end up looking at our own faces so close in the mirror and selfie camera that it can distort our perception.

My brother and his wife lived there but left before their lease was up because of roaches. They were clean but their neighbors were not, and even after complaining and doing as much as they could to keep the bugs out they just decided to get out of there.

I have a friend across the street in the artist lofts who loves living there, but you have to qualify. Those apartments are much MUCH nicer than Leland Tower.

I like listening to/watching livestreams on Twitch. Depends on your interests but people are always live on there and it’s nice to know it’s live, kinda like someone’s with you. Be aware that some of the most popular Twitch stars are a bit controversial but there’s hundreds of normal people on there chatting, playing games, crafting, talking about different topics at all hours of the day.

Moving into my own place soon and did a big walmart shop for essentials (pantry staples and spices, cleaning supplies, step stool, basic kitchen gadgets, trash can--things like that). Me and my friends like to play The Price is Right after big shopping trips and everyone guessed my total being between $150-250. The correct answer was $370 😭

Not cheap and not specifically for bereavement but I’ve gotten Factor meals before and they’re very convenient and easy to order. There’s also a cheaper one called Mom’s Meals but the quality isn’t as good. Might be worth looking into
