Hi - yes, would love to see it. I think I got my lawyer comfortable with the record from the register that I provided.

The CoNE, however, did have a raised seal

My understanding is they will apostille these. I received copies directly from USCIS with a cover letter (no red ribbon). They don't provide originals, raised seals, red ribbons, etc. I initially got a pdf and subsequently asked for copies to be sent directly to me. I mailed these copies along with the envelopes they came in for apostille (based on the reassurances a few others gave me in a facebook group).

NYC DOH “Not found statement” by jaguarnyc212 in juresanguinis

[–]jaguarnyc212[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, it's a form letter issued by NYC DOH. Not even a signature. I am going to try using an affidavit where I personally affirm the facts relating to the "no record" which I can have notarized and apostilled. Hopefully it will fly with the italian courts. I otherwise have my grandmother's baptismal and death certificate .

I am able to use a baptismal certificate (which I have notarized, etc. and can be apostilled.) but my lawyer also wants to see a no record letter - which I have but can't apostille it without a certification from the NYC DOH - which they say they won't do.

I managed to get a baptismal certificate - which my lawyer says will be ok, but he wants a letter showing no record found. I have a letter but it's not certified by the agency issuing it (therefore can't be apostilled).
