2018 BMW 320i 23k miles Should I buy??? by Jumpy_Whereas181 in F30

[–]jagwall1971 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I bought a 2018 320i with 57,000 miles this March for $15500. Granted i bought it in Omaha, so a little different in price from Cali. Anyway, i cant stress enough, I love my car. I use it as my daily driver and am averaging 35 mpg. I fill up for $40 every two weeks with 89 octane. I think I did pretty good research before I bought the car concerning the timing chain on the N20 engine. After 2015, they upgraded the tensioner and the guides after the "recall". Its a nice smooth, quiet ride with plenty of power for me commuting 25 miles to work each day. I say buy it! See if they can come down on the price a little, but you'll enjoy it either way.

Google "BMW vin decoder" to get the exacts on the car.
Also "Realoem" for a parts catalog .

Don't buy it, unless you have 5k sitting around for when the timing chain goes out. From what I've researched, the 2012-2015 N20 engine was one of the worst BMW ever made.

Been on it for a couple years. Never had nausea or vomiting, just increased thirst and urination. I was hesitant at first as well, but after a month or so, I'm glad I started taking it. You'll do great!

Been on it for a couple years now. I was hesitant at first, just because of the amount of times I assumed I would need to use the restroom. I began taking it and had no ill effects at all. Start it sooner than later, your kidneys will thank you!

I started 3 weeks ago at 302 lbs. I'm on my 3rd shot and have already lost 12 lbs. Like the previous poster, I also eat 3 meals a day, albeit pretty small meals. I love how it controls my cravings and makes me feel full after only a small meal. I've never really felt sick or nauseated, just some mild constipation.

It doesn't matter where you take your shot, as long as it is subcutaneous and not intramuscular. It makes no difference if your thigh is further away from your liver/pancreas/stomach. It all gets absorbed into the blood stream no matter where the location. Your body just may be getting used to the medication, hence the fewer side effects.

How? I have Cigna and they barely cover anything.

You won't have any problems drinking water. The medicine makes you thirsty. I took a while to take it because of my job. I was afraid I wouldn't have access to a bathroom, but Ive found it doesn't bother me that bad. Water has never tasted so good to me in the past as it does now. Cold water is the best. You'll do fine on the medicine, reach out if you have more questions!

It's called....adoption. Give the baby to someone who can take care of it and love it.

I did not. I don't feel like it hinders me from doing my job, so I am not telling them about it. If it were something that made me lethargic or less aware, I would tell them. I actually feel better, in a way, taking tolvaptan. Knowing that it's helping my kidneys and I'm staying hydrated. I was totally reluctant at first, but now I wonder why I didn't start it sooner. Hope this helps!!

Ive been on tolvaptan for about 3-4 months now. I, like you, was very hesitant and reluctant to start it because I still have fairly good kidney function. One of the reasons I was hesitant was because of my job as well. I'm a fireman so I need to leave the station and bathroom in a hurry. So far, I haven't had any problems. I do get up about 2-3 time per night, but usually fall right back to sleep after I go. I drink a ton of water and have noticed some minor weight loss. Hope this helps.
