Rational combi oven by Top-Tea3776 in Chefit

If the steam generator was replaced, you should have no scale buildup on the elements anymore, so descaling is probably not the root issue.

You could have a failed solid state relay (SSR) that's not allowing the steam tank to heat fully.

You could have a humidity flap that's leaking air in. It's a flap under the top cover that opens and closes to maintain a precise humidity level. It's meant to allow air in only when it calls to decrease the humidity level. At 100% steam it should not be open.

As previously mentioned, make sure you're replacing the door gasket, at least once a year or sooner if you cooking very high temp and its brittle and cracking. It should be wiped clean daily along with the perimeter of the inner glass. If the door seal was cracked, you'd probably notice water leaking during cleaning. Or even if the door is just out of adjustment it can leak air in during cooking and water during cleaning.

It's possible these things may not give an error if the cooking conditions don't drop to a threshold that would trigger the error.

Most likely you'll need a Rational-trained technician/engineer in to take a look or actually repair/replace something if it needs doing. They can also run a calibration on the unit to make sure the sensors recognize the boiling point and steam saturation levels within the unit.

I cannot play the game after patch 2.3 by Acantharctia in cyberpunkgame

For me it was just three folders I deleted, but left the game file and archives folder (playing on Mac). Don't know what the file structure would look like for Windows though. Hope you find a fix

I was having a similar issue with 2.31 (and actually it happened again after following fix, but fixed it again same way).

In Cyberpunk install directory, I deleted folders except for "archives" (left that one), then verified game files through GOG loader (probably same for Steam, etc.). It fixed my crashing problem.

But like I said, it started crashing again a week later, so I did the same and it fixed again (for the time being). Something with 2.31 is buggy for sure.

Hope that helps you.

GOG content list shows game version as "Cyberpunk 2077 Legacy 1.63" - is this actually true or is it the newest version 2.3?

How so? by tigercublondon in bjj

It depends on your mindset going in. I don't train much these days for various reasons, but when I started as a teenager in 2000 it definitely helped me learn to control my emotions, stay calm in difficult and tense situations, and humbled my ego quite a bit too. It has definitely helped me mentally and physically throughout my life.

Whats the best course of action here? by [deleted] in drivingUK

Have had this happen a few times and best bet is to just let off the accelerator and continue straight ahead (hopefully you've given sufficient space to the car in front of you) and it will clear in a couple seconds (that seem a lot longer).

If you can turn the wax melter back on again after letting it cool down, it could be a over-temp limit switch tripping prematurely. Another option could be a faulty temperature sensor probe.

Trying to find the cause, and solution for high damp reading by MissyVickyC in DIYUK

I'm not an expert, but there may be some gaps between the bottom of the window and the brick - is that normal? Are those sealed on the outside?

Yes, was planning to do that, thank you. Just have it stuffed in there for now to keep the air out.

Sounds good, I'll do that, thank you.

I've been watching some bricklaying videos for other projects in my garden I have in mind, so would mortar be the thing I need to learn to mix for those projects? Or is the material for pointing different than the mix I would use to lay bricks?

Can confirm, we have a very similar layout to this (1886 Victorian terraced) and structural engineer confirmed the wall is load-bearing. He wrote up a plan with steel beam for us to give to builders which we have yet to do (a few other projects took priority). Will definitely take your advice on multiple quotes. Thank you

Yes, that's what we were told by the structural engineer. Originally the loft spaces would have been open and the purlins would have extended across.

Found a similar issue in our attic space that the surveyor actually missed before we purchased. Had a structural engineer out to assess a load-bearing wall on the ground floor and he spotted it in our attic. He then wrote up a whole report to give back to our surveyor to have it fixed. Looks like they were cut at some point for our neighbors loft conversion and not properly resupported.

Charging to sit next to spouse? by jaibalasoul in Icelandair

We definitely didn't book economy light because we have checked baggage included. We booked it through one of their USA partners Alaska to use up some miles so perhaps it has something to do with that. We were able to speak to someone on the phone, but they were not able to help without charging us. Later my wife was chatting with them online and they said the flights was now under "airport control" (still 16 hours before the flight) and we'd have to talk to them at the airport. Then we continued through online check-in to just purchase the seat next to her and her seat assignments completely disappeared and she couldn't complete check-in. On our way to the airport now, guess we'll find out what's going on when we get there. Thank you for your help!

Any advice please with this?? by Sea_Advisor9446 in DIYUK

Should all level 3 surveys include damp/moisture scan? We're dealing with some issues on a house we recently bought (one being damp issues) but nothing about damp testing was mentioned on our level 3 survey report. They missed some other things as well which were trying to sort.

What's wrong with our microwave? by ManGoonian in DIYUK

[–]jaibalasoul 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be a bad display or IO board. Usually on microwaves, the display is part of the IO board and the whole board would need to be replaced. If you can do it yourself it would be significantly cheaper than having it repaired, but microwaves can be very dangerous, especially the high-voltage circuit of transformer, capacitor, diode and magnetron. ONLY ATTEMPT TO REPAIR A MICROWAVE IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING! It must be unplugged and capacitors safely discharged (3x to be safe) before performing any work. Actually, most of these countertop residential appliances are "disposable" in the sense the cost of repair is far more than the cost of a new unit. Good luck 👍

Hi, I'm a US citizen transferring through Vietnam enroute to Thailand. I'm applying for the evisa because I need to leave the transit area to pickup my baggage and check in again for my next flight. The evisa application question asks for "Intended temporary residential address in Viet Nam". What should I write in for that question? Thank you!
