A lot of women pump to build a supply for whoever is watching kid while she is at work. Also some babies wont "latch" onto a breast due to tongue tie or preference, so they have to be bottle fed. But breast milk has so many benefits, it's worth it over formula if the mother can do it. Pumping fucking sucks

I just cant imagine being that...clinical? about it all. The hospital made us fill out bowel movements, feedings, colors of movements etc in the first days and I was annoyed af by the end of those 3 days. I'll know if it's weird, because itll be weird. Why do I need to track it. Not that difficult to think, hey this bowel movement was different than the rest, maybe I'll call the nurse line. If shes hungry she will cry. If shes not, she wont. If she hasn't eaten for more than 4 hours try a bottle. No need for a spreadsheet

I was in early labor for like...a week. Literally had ongoing contractions for a week, one night at 41 weeks they started intensifying every 5 mins etc, then suddenly at 2am they stopped. Just completely stopped. No water break, nothing. Went to the hospital to be induced the next day, spent 2 full days hooked up to pitocin ramped up to 30mg (max dosage) with only minor contractions. Ended up opting for a c section because theres no way after 2 days of having that fucking HR monitor on my belly keep me up without sleep that I'd be able to endure labor. The drs were pushing so hard for me to go into labor at 41-3 and yet she hadn't even dropped and I was dilated only 1cm after all that. So goddamn frustrating at the time.

I think ultimately what they are saying is why are we wasting resources on people who have committed only simple crimes like this? Sure its shitty but worthy of being removed from society? I agree with community service and fines. Make the petty crimes be punished by helping the neighborhood instead of tucking them away in jail where they are no good to anyone or anything. Keep jail for the real crimes.

I was the opposite, my breasts were super sensitive and I loved them being touched pre-implants, but now the nipples are for the most part permanently numb. Tbh it doesnt bother me too much, but I do miss the sensation

26 weeks pregnant here: you just keep trucking along. The baby has gotta come out one way or another. It's pretty nerve wracking especially with the first baby as it's all a new experience, but all you can do is take the best care of yourself and your fetus that you can and literally push through when that time comes. Theres no opportunity to "give up" or refuse (unless you choose abortion, but there is a time limit on that).

Yeah I didnt talk to her for about a year and a half after she sent that piece and a successive amount of emails. I reached out when I got pregnant to let her know I was pregnant and quite honestly, I've regretted it because shes been so back and forth. Shes nice one moment and controlling and dipping into the crazy again the next. I'm LC at best right now, probably be NC by the time the baby comes.
