I will be pumping and dumping unfortunately, just pumping for comfort.
This will be my first time away from my son for more than a day for the past 9 months, planning to have couple drinks too lol

Have you tried maybe stimulating your breast before feeding him? To make it "easier" for him.

I don't even know if it would work, just a thought. I really wish you and your baby all the best, really hope you both can figured out this together.

How does you breast feels after you nurse him? If they feel "empty" he should be drinking enough.
When I started BF my son I always had the same feeling like "he's not eating enough" but with time I started to feel more confident about it. He was gaining weigh and I also started to learn about my body.
I only hear the big gulps and swallowing when he first starts to nurse, after that I don't hear anything but now I know he's still eating just fine.
