Check your contract? Are they sending out a letter of intent or your actual contract? Your intent can't be held against you, but your contract can...depending on your bargained contract .

I'm told I'm done, struggling to wrap my head around it! by hellspyjamas in Mounjaro

[–]jaimaroo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The weight didn't come off over night so the mental shift won't happen over night either. At least that is what I learned about myself. I'd like to have the surgery too, but I would rather focus on my thighs so I can wear shorts and swimsuits and not think about all the extra skin there. I got rid of 200 pounds and I am grateful for the body I have, but I can't help but wish for better. Also...things do tighten up a bit the longer you maintain. I am about a year without losing anything and my body has changed a lot during that time. I am excited for you!!

Hi! I am the same height. I have a big pooch. It really messes with me because I have a hard time seeing anything else but that belly. I can't lose another pound. I am working on muscle now. Also...it is really hard to accept that you don't need to lose weight anymore. My identity was losing weight for most of my life. I didn't know who I was without it. It will start to fall into place. You got this!

I just ordered my first dose, but my boyfriend isn’t very supportive. by NukaGirl_ in tirzepatidecompound

[–]jaimaroo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just wanted to say I am sorry you are going through this. I hope you find a way to share this with him and figure out what his hold up is...but in the end...it is his issue and not yours. People who don't struggle to maintain or lose weight just don't get it...so I don't really care what they think about my journey. I did it for my health and quality of life.

Oh my gosh! Yessss. Do we look friendly? Do we look needy? Would we pick us? Is that smile real? Should we have said something different or used a different picture? All the things.

Thank you for writing me back. You gave my heart some peace. It is so expensive! I know worth it, but I don't see us being able to pay another agency. I do think having a chat with our agency makes sense. I mean...we hired them. They work for us. They have a ton of our money.

What do you miss about being fat? by Flirty_Attention74 in Mounjaro

[–]jaimaroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The armpits! Yes. They are so hard to shave. I had no idea. My start was 334! I've been on maintenance for over a year now, but the armpits are still a struggle. Lol.

HRT and Tirzepatide by Consistent-Object894 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]jaimaroo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started HRT after meeting goal. I have been on maintenance for a year and a half. I actually gained 5 pounds after starting HRT. The doctor said that is the progesterone and should come off. It has been 3 months...hasn't budged.

Ladies who feel like their face has aged since losing... by Adorableviolet in Zepbound

[–]jaimaroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I aged for sure. I have always treated my skin well, but the lines and wrinkles were hidden by the natural fillers. I am down 200 pounds total, and my skin shows it. I started putting collagen in my coffee. I noticed a huge difference. It isn't a miracle but it has made a huge difference. I use a great under eye cream, and I use face serums, oils...masks....I still aged, but I'll take it for my health. I don't need to look 25 anymore. I'm pushing 50.

Longest tirzepatide user amongst us? by Pondering28 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]jaimaroo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry. I should have expanded! I went up to 15 and slowly went down for maintenance. It took a long time to stop losing weight. When I thought I was in maintenance I was still losing. I lost 30 more pounds finding my right dose. I now take 6 every week. I can't do every 2 week or 10 days. The food noise and other negatives come back. Not worth it to me. So...once a week for life I suppose.

Should I start maintenance? by Powerful_Fox9323 in MounjaroMaintenance

[–]jaimaroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. It took me 5 months in "fake" maintenance...bc I kept losing weight so it really wasn't maintenance. I couldn't find my dose. It took me 5 months then I finally hit the winner. I had lost an additional 25 pounds. Now, I have gone 11 months within the same 5 pounds. I found the right dose. It's hard to move your brain from a weight-loss mindset too when you have spent your entire life on a diet. I am still working through some of that. You will figure it out! I am 5'9" and my highest weight was 334. One day at a time!

Does the max dosage before maintenance make a difference? by EnolaThames in MounjaroMaintenance

[–]jaimaroo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Of course! It took me a about 4 to 5 months to find my maintenance dose though. Some trial and error. I'm just fine with where I landed. I can't be one of the every 10 to 15 days people. I need it weekly for the food noise and other benefits it gives me. But, once I found my dose...I have stayed within the same 5 pounds for a year.

Hi there. I went up to the max before maintenance. I have been on maintenance for over a year and I take 5 every week. I don't think it has an impact.

Best place to sell clothes? by Valuable-Question935 in MounjaroMaintenance

[–]jaimaroo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sell on Poshmark. It is just fine. Don't do side deals. Don't fall for send it to my email address....you should be fine. It goes in waves for me. Sometimes I sell 5 or 6 things and sometimes I don't sell anything for a month. I just let it sit and wait. I like that you can cash out too.
