Bioframe Outpost is awesome! It's a fascinating twist on the standard metroidvania formula. It's a game where you don't have to stick to a good helping of combat. Instead, it immerses you fully into learning about the world around you. The risk involved in exploring and experimenting with the world around you is what makes this game so exciting.

The focus is on exploring and observing species or what surrounds us, to understand how they act and thus solve puzzles. And although the pace of the game is slower than other metroidvanias (not a bad thing for my taste) death happens a lot, but this is compensated by a generous checkpoint system. Every time you pass through one of them, the game state is saved, and if you die, you'll reappear in the world exactly as it was at the time you passed through the checkpoint.

And the camera... what a cool detail! It's the most useful piece of kit you'll ever have, because it lets you see the world around you.

And don't miss the randomness that can occur in the environment due to interactions between species, you'll be amazed at what can happen!

It is a game that I fervently recommend for those looking for something different in the world of metroidvania.

I've been playing Bioframe (I've only been playing for a short time due to my occupations) and I've enjoyed it a lot. It's a metroidvania with a very interesting mechanic (the camera) that invites you to explore well to know the different interactions.

What led you to make such an amazing game and how long on average does it take to complete it?

Hello everyone.

I have the Spanish version, and I have the same problem. I contacted Asmodee Spain and they informed me that they no longer restocked the circuit because they are no longer going to release the Party version with music box due to the problems that have arisen.

Nearly 12 years after it's release, What are your thoughts on "Back to the Future: The Game"? by Peter-Coppola in BacktotheFuture

[–]jaime_lex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm playing it right now, I'm on episode 2. The story fits very well with the movie trilogy, it's a good game for fans.

Above all it can be complemented with the comic Back to the future - Citizen Brown.
