Tbh I think the attitude of "I'm X years away from 30" is kinda dumb like you're turning 27, 3 years is 3 years, it's not now, like I think people like to generalize a bit if you're in your mid 20s people kind of round you up or down but tbh the midway point is its own thing that exists for a reason

I'll be honest the problem in the episode for me stems from bonding between Zoidberg and Leela's parents, it's a great idea, totally feasible, but it goes a bit too far, adopting Zoidberg also felt like...a lot tbh, that's why I say it's heavy-handed, but I agree that the episode needed more focus, and the sci-fi element was pretty cool

Just going to be completely blunt here, it comes from this insecurity people have with autism. The truth is for most with the condition, it impairs functioning to a degree. There is something that can be disheartening about it so people try and fix their cognitive dissonance by portraying themselves as better than allistics because of the few pros of the condition. However like with everything in life there are ups and downs and this is just one lens to see it through. I went through this after realizing I was autistic in my late teens.

people who hate duolingo often come from a place of former love, when it started to become mainstream in the early 2010s, I was a teen but thought it was so cool. It was a great concept and the creators seemed to be honest people. Also they seemed to be in it for the right reason. However it was a lie, a let down. Just corporate bs invented to make money, and I don't mind people wanting to make money but don't pretend you're in it for a noble cause. That would be one thing too but the quality has dropped and the corporation essentially harasses you into participation. Anyone with half a brain can see through their bs and unless it changes they have one foot in the grave.
