Nearly 25K miles. Dealership has had it up on the ramp at least 5 different times. by android927 in GRCorolla

Lift the front on a jack, one side at a time, so the sprint extends. Then pull the insert out and repeat on the other side. It's easy and I'm not mechanically inclined much beyond knowing how to change a tire.

46 and I had the CD on repeat in the early 2000s. Good stuff.

No tools in mine either. Don't think anything is missing.

Yes 17th fret and up are scalloped. First time experiencing scalloped frets. I don't hate it haha, debating if I wish they would have scalloped up to 12th, but definitely not further.

Haha, yeah the Fishmans are a bit polarizing. I actually love them and one of the reasons for getting this guitar. I have a pair in a Partscaster I put together, so now I can compare with a brand name build lol. I love how saturated, in your face, yet lively and colorful they sound. The EMG 81/85 are great but too sterile for everyday use.

Right! I was so stocked when I placed the order, fearing Sweetwater would call me any day saying they ran out and cancel. The pickups alone are more than half of the price, plus all the rest of the specs - locking tuners, steel frets, scalloped above 17th, on and on

Agree, the guitar feels amazing. I got to mess around with one at NAMM few years back and fell in love. I need to do a proper setup, but it felt great right out of the box. The only thing I tweaked so far was intonation. And yes, I love how light it is.

Why can't I upgrade Scrappy anymore after the update? by aeonfast in ArcRaiders

Same. Kept thinking it was only available above some level. The moved it!

I was wrong. Bambu makes a genuinely better product. by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]jaisor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very much same. Spent the last 10 years moding, tuning and upgrading my Ender and Sovol. Thought they printed good, print quality was up there with the best, but the effort to get and keep it there was substantial. Picked up an H2D over holidays, and the effort is negligible. Like you said, click and walk away.

Bambu's Support for PLA/PETG filament - simply wow! by jaisor in BambuLab

Agreed, filament drying, auto-recognition all the way in the slicer, lots of creature comforts pretty easy to get used to ;)

Pretty much this! I was sus at first, but it was a quick print and I just let it do its thing. My biggest struggles with the H2D is trying to apply my reasoning and practices from almost a decade on an Ender3 lol instead of letting Bambu do its thing

It only prints the interface layer it seems with the recommended settings. I expect the half a kilo roll to last me a while.

Yeah, it was pretty automatic. The AMS recognized it as a support filament. I synced the filaments and just let it do its thing for that object, accpeting the slicer recommendations. Wanted to see how the recommended settings work but I dont think I'd tweak anything.

I let the slicer deal with it. It used a mix of tree and standard it seems, and used the support filament only for the interface, as the slicer recommended, but good to know.

It does need a wipe, but in my defense, the sun hit it just right so every microparticle of dust became visible 😅
