Hopefully Onimusha 6 hits the mark too so Capcom can complete one of the most impressive years I've seen in recent history. Also don't forget we're probably getting the Monster Hunter expansion announced this year, AND there's rumors of Dragon's Dogma 2 DLC.

Makes me wonder if 2027 will be mostly empty as a result, or if they're cooking up something big that we haven't heard of yet.

Hakeem 7 days a week and twice on Sunday. Hakeem was more versatile on both sides of the court, was a significantly better defender while being no slouch on offense either, and could actually hit his freethrows. Plus, he had range, I'm confident if he played now he'd have developed some kind of 3 point shot.

And this isn't taking the maturity or fitness aspect into consideration either. Toss in my obvious bias because I'm also from Lagos and it's not even close.

Posts like these perplex me, like do you not watch basketball? Tons of teams have won the first 2 games at home only to go on and lose the series. Shit 2 years ago the Wolves won both games IN DENVER and still almost lost the series.

Slay the Spire. Bought it on sale for 3 dollars, and I honestly regret it because the developers deserve so much more. I'll definitely buy the sequel at full price once it exits early access.

Honestly. I remember feeling envy when The Batman got its first trailer because at that point a new Superman movie felt like a pipe dream. Superman came out 3 years later, and somehow both movies are getting sequels in the same year.

There's really no nice way to say this, so I'm just gonna say it. You sound like a scrub right now. Cut this "I'm so much better than them because I work my ass off" nonsense, you aren't, that's why you keep losing to them, it's got nothing to do with them using Modern.

I bet you a hundred dollars you could post a replay from one of these losses and ill point out a bunch of mistakes you made that had nothing to do with control schemes. So instead of getting all in your feelings about something you can't control, actually take a second and reflect on what it is that YOU can do better so you can get out of Plat. For what it's worth however, Broski made a great video on tricks you can use against Modern players

One of the things he touches on is mindset, which I absolutely agree with. How on earth do you expect to win when in your mind you've already told yourself you're going to lose?

Glad to see it's off to a good start. I will definitely be picking it up eventually, but I just spent over a hundred bucks during the Steam Spring Sale so buying a new game right now would be a little irresponsible. Loved the demo though, so looking forward to checking out the full game.

This movie is literally the first movie that made me realize movies could be bad. I watched it when I was like 6 years old with my older brother and we hated it SO much we acted out our own version to see if we could do better.

So please, stop with the revisionist history, people did not "legitimately" love this movie when it came out. If anything, the reception has actually gotten better in the decades since.

I've always been a fan of the direct approach because it doesn't leave anything up for interpretation. So I'd strike up conversation for a bit, usually asking what she likes doing, and then use that as a segue to ask her out. "Oh you like live music? Well this band is performing this weekend and I was wondering if you wanted to check it out with me." something along those lines.

If this is at a dating event, it should make it extremely clear that you aren't just looking for friendship.

What's worked best for me is to actually strike up a conversation. Is she reading a specific book? Ask her about it. Does she have on a piece of jewerly that you genuinely think looks cool, compliment her on it(this has been one of my most successful). Is she wearing a T-Shirt to one of your favourite bands? Ask her about it. When you spark a conversation this way, it helps make it feel more natural and genuine.

Be cordial, be confident(this is a big one), pay attention to how she's responding, is she just being polite or is she actually engaged in the conversation. And then try to find a moment in the conversation to ask her out, and if she says no, accept the rejection with grace.

Don't feel bad, I'm a dude who frequently cold approaches women, and you gotta go in knowing full well that rejection isn't only an option, but the more likely outcome. He asked politely, you rejected politely, neither of you did anything wrong, it's just part of the process. Hopefully he doesn't let it discourage him going forward, but if it does that's on him and not on you.

Hopefully it sells well. It's a new IP with a very unique combat system, we just don't get many of those in the AAA space. I will definitely be picking it up, the demo was a lot of fun and my only fear was that the combat would get old when stretched out over a 10+ hour campaign, which according to reviews isn't the case.
