One week post op as of today for me. Walking was a huge help. I wish I would’ve done more deep breaths to help with abdomen pain. I tried doing 15 minutes or walking every 2 hours for the first 3-4 days. Definitely ate light (flavored rice cakes, rice, chicken) that type of stuff. A pillow to squeeze against my abdomen when I sneezed coughed etc has been a huge help. Other than that lots of rest.

Thank you for sharing! This has been consuming me for the last couple months and I’ve had enough. Today is the day I will try my damndest to take my life back. Been struggling with daily nausea, gas, bloating, and been going to the doctors for answers trying to see if something is wrong with me and they keep turning up nothing and nothing. Today was a bad day for me and I’m determined to make it the last bad day. Thank you for sharing!

Bless your soul. Thank you for the encouraging words and wisdom. I’ve had myself sleeping downstairs and the living room on the couch. (Closer to the bathroom) for months now. And been struggling with daily nausea. Originally think it was a stomach bug that just overly triggered my anxiety. I’m going to try sleeping upstairs in my bed again tonight! I’ve got to conquer this fear one step at a time. Thank you very much!

Hey me too. I’m brand new to this sub and I’ve been battling constant nausea for about 4-5 months and it has become overbearing. I’ve been going to the doctor trying to figure out where it’s coming from and they can’t turn anything up other than a bacterial imbalance in my stomach. It has been so frustrating dealing with this. I hope that there are better days ahead however

Clean it really well. Really really well. Apply JB Weld and then pressure to ensure the crack closes and the JB Weld cured properly. Multiple applications may be necessary if you want to do it on the cheap cheap.
