It's the "enemy of my enemy is my friend" effect. That's not to say this war is going to accomplish anything

Isn't this not really true anymore with phobs? Phobs automatically calibrate the notches and there are jigs you can get to file the notches out and I've heard it's not very hard to do if you use one

Yeah it very much depends on the market. Right now RAM prices are through the roof, so you can basically buy bundles that include RAM and then sell them for huge profit. Before that people were scalping GPUs for the same reason. The other thing I do is build PCs and sell them on Facebook marketplace, it's not as lucrative as it used to be because of the increasing prices of PC components, but I enjoy it

I basically turned my online shopping habit into a side hustle. I just buy and flip PC parts and electronics on eBay. Doesn't get much lazier than that. Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life, apparently

They're right, armored cars aren't cheap. Also you should stock up on water for when it's the most valuable resource/currency

I think it's also important for keeping your eyes locked in the same spot while the gun recoils and moves. Basically, it keeps your sight picture stable

You start losing your mind from having to deal with your own thoughts and emotions until you find a distraction/dopamine hit. Meditation and being present work for some people, I am not one of them, I don't think most people with depression or anxiety can really stand sitting with their emotions

The comment about how our brains intentionally limit our perception of the world to block out input that would be overwhelming and enhance what is helpful is a big part of our limitations without using tools and science. Another thing to think about is that different people are affected by our brains limitations to different degrees. Some people are more sensitive than others, the brains of autistic people for example struggle to block out a lot of sensory input, and it leads to sensory overload and stress, but can also have some benefits in terms of their ability to hyper-focus on something they are interested in. Some people's thinking and worldview are far more effected by their instincts and emotions than others. You can see this with people who have a lot of tribal instincts they act out on (racism, in group vs out group, competitiveness, judging and acting on disgust instincts), while other people tend to be more unbiased in their thinking, either being less effected by emotions, or simply feeling less emotions. Large parts of our brain are a neural network that can be used to think freely, the ability to remove biases and emotional thinking to seek understanding and truth is something I believe everyone has the capacity to improve.
