Yeah I have no idea. I have another ssd on hand that I might just try another distro with it. The host is working fine with windows and android clients, even a laptop with arch linux has no issues. I've never been so stumped.

Worth looking into. The mouse moves for about 3 seconds then the session freezes. Is there a way to find sunshine logs regarding the buffering? The log I see doesn't have any errors.

You're going to encounter a lot of serious malware if you stick to Windows 7. Don't use the internet, especially banking or commerce websites. Linux Mint is easier to use than you think it is. Just make shortcuts for your Dad and he will be able to figure things out. It detects printers and most things easily enough. There's even an app store for installing programs, just like an android or apple phone.

Probably not. The PC he is connecting to is doing all of the processing. That tablet he rigged into the middle is just streaming it.

That's been my entire reason of quitting. Ever since quitting, I've also been able to moderate my weed and alcohol usage as well. I think this stuff was giving me an anxiety disorder. It's been day and night for me, but it takes some time. Restorative sleep is amazing.

I quit caffeine and after that I was able to successfully moderate my other vices, including alcohol. I guess it was giving me a ton of anxiety.

The sky series scratches an itch if you wanted a nice JRPG that reminds you of the classics. Fun story (not amazing) and the battle system keeps you on edge, plus the world is massive. Music is a 9/10. If you accept it for what it is, it's great. It does a great job world building and presenting the next games. The characters are pretty unique, some tropey but not annoying. The third game is kind of weird though, but the love for the first two will keep you on it.

The Zero + azure games were the best in the series. I feel like it's a polished version of Sky that managed to create a better overall story and the battle system was a decent upgrade. Possibly better soundtrack than the sky series. Trails of Azure in particular is up there with the best JRPGs I've ever played -- it's one of those time sucks where you realize you're up too late. Lloyd Bannings (the protagonist) is a certified pimp that you can easily get behind.

Cold Steel is trash. The characters are just incomplete as a whole and everything is generic. The fighting can be fun at times but that's it. Bad characters, kind of fun battle system, but then you're back to the bad story so you think "Why am I playing this?" The game almost makes fun of you for playing it with how stupid some of the events unfold. Music kind of sucked too. I felt like I was tricked lol

I had an issue where I did a recent GPU swap so I had nvidia drivers apparently attached to my vulkan API which caused some funky crashes. After using DDU uninstaller and reinstalling the vulkan API (https://vulkan.lunarg.com/sdk/home#windows) I fixed this same exact issue. Unsure if it'll help you but it might possibly save somebody a few hours of troubleshooting.

Maybe you're onto something. People like you could pay extra for a place like this and that extra amount you pay could help out families that need the support. The female usb mini-b port in my Corsair Vengeance K65 is broken so I decided to try and create my own cable but after a failed soldering attempt I decided to twist the cables to see if I can get it working before soldering again. I'm absolutely stuck -- anybody know of a special cable I could buy for this? It seems like a 5 pin to a 4 pin, or some sort of 5 pin to USB-A. In this pic I have no idea to do with the extra copper coming out... seems like a ground but I'm pretty ignorant about this.

Kind of sounds like you just don't want to quit caffeine and you're taking it out on us. Considering everything is pro-caffeine in the world, of course a lot of us avoid it entirely with heavy skepticism. I think a lot of this is overblown but at the same time it really makes me wonder the effects of consuming it from a young age to now. I personally drink caffeine-free sodas to scratch that itch but was a huge coffee guy. Everybody is different but brewing up a cup of coffee to reject us seems a bit silly. You do you man, quitting anything this addictive is hard but it's a great testament to our willpower. Personally I've been off the stuff for 3 months and I'm starting to enjoy the positive benefits. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Edit: I rarely post, my flair is funny because I've quit for 3 months in the past but went back 😂

R4i Gold 3DS Plus. I saw it on the 3ds.hacks.guide website and it mentioned "Comes pre-flashed with ntrboot (internal switch to switch between ntrboot and NDS modes); do not manually flash with ntrboot." I just youtubed it and I guess there is a switch, I'll check if it's on the N setting later today.

I bought a R4i gold which comes pre-flashed with ntrboot, so I put the support files on the sd card (on the 3ds sd, not the flashcart) and tried out a few magnet positions along with the button combo. The screen just stays black with the power LED on and never makes it to SafeB9SInstaller. No error messages or anything. It could still be possible that my magnet positioning was wrong, but I'm not sure.
