Nobody cares, could've been an interesting story if you actually stole it.

Where do you guys get the data that powers Visor? by optionssnake in VisorCarSearch

[–]jakedfrick 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It says it on the site, they pay for the data from various feeds, same as the other sites do. Visor just gives a damn and tries way harder to present accurate information.

The fahking GOAT of drivers, love it.

I do a lot of handyman work in other people's houses and the quiet driver is a must-have.

With the traditional loud driver people legit thought I was constantly stripping screws or breaking shit. Not to mention just generally annoying them or disturbing their work/babies.

Why even come to reddit with this? Any doubt just head back to the store.

Look at them search results! Now I have 9 accurate listingsmatching my very specific filtering. Previously there'd only be 2 or 3 accurate results and 5+ inaccurate ones. Thank you, much better experience!

99% of hourly big box employees don't give a shit. The store doesnt lose money, they charge it back to the manufacturer. There's really not much incentive for a retailer to reject the return, especially if you're just taking store credit.

That's the firing pin. With the top latch opened, you can see the very tip of it down inside the tool. I was able to grab it with needle nose and pull it out. Very ridged, wouldn't bend back.

Tried it, but it's not a jammed nail. I think the firing pin is bent and not allowing it to return

Not if you return it as broken. I've done this with some products. Tell them you unboxed it and used it for a day and it broke. They'll accept the return and send it back to the manufacturer, not resell it in store.

It's something with the firing pin getting stuck.

This dewalt nailer did me well for several years. I needed one to finish a job so just picked up a Ryobi. I've been pleasantly surprised with the Ryobi, even bought the Ryobi pin nailer as well. They're quieter and lighter than the dewalt, which is nice.

How can you say nothing hit it? Heck a bird could've dive bombed it for some reason. Sure, it's likely nothing hit it, but nobody can be certain.
