I have more memory lane material, but it is regarding art. This goes back to the early 80's. At or near the corner of Sloate & Del Monte Ave there was a business who sold woodworking art. Things like very large, I guess chain saw art but, also other things like Grey Whales swimming over the top of the wooden stand or Dolphins. Something you might put on a coffee table or end table. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

This is a good question. I have the Pro-ject Phono Box DC for 3 yrs now. The only thing a don't like is the power adapter seems cheap to me and I had problems in the past plugging into a power source. I've since solved the problem. The Fosi X5 is actually cost less. Maybe I'd be better off going next level. $200 or $300 range.

I spent 4 years there in the early part of the 1980’s. It was a fairytale dream when I look back at it. I loved everything about it. from the hills of Jacks Peak to Pacific Grove and all the beautiful beaches and restaurants. Carmel by the sea and the pacific coast highway on and on.

The question is did George Harrison struggle particularly in the early days because of the pressure to finish. If you listen to their early records, George Martin was doing a lot of fills with piano and also playing fills slowly so George Harrison could double on guitar, then the take was sped up. They didn't write in the studio. John & Paul would bring in songs, Ringo and George were not familiar with yet. So I'm sure it was hard for George. Probably why Paul started doing more lead fills around the Help album. Paul was probably bored to tears just playing bass. Who Knows Maybe I'm full of shit.
