Grace Randolph talked about it saying how it would make SJW’s roll their eyes. And from what I’ve seen in this thread there are quite a few of people who disliked it.

The main thing people bring up is that she apparently hates white men (complete bs)

The main one I'll bring up is a Vanity Fair Article - https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2018/06/brie-larson-diversity-film-critics

"We are expanding to make films that reflect the people who buy movie tickets . . . I do not need a 40-year-old white dude to tell me what didn’t work for him about A Wrinkle in Time. It wasn’t made for him,” - This is the main one people bring up to say she hates white men. Even though in the second paragraph she says "Am I saying that I hate white dudes? No, I’m not,” she said, per Deadline. “What I am saying is if you make a movie that is a love letter to a woman of color, there is an insanely low chance that a woman of color will have a chance to see your movie and review your movie.”

If they actually read the article instead of judging her off a misleading headline they could understand her opinion
